What the crap?!
Let the lawyer explain how shooter got access to Charles Vallow' gray Jeep Wrangler, and how that Jeep got to Rexburg Idaho (where police found it), if some other dude (not connected to missing children case) did it.

Surely, if CD received $430,000 from TD life insurance, he has already blown through at least 35% of that amount in how many days? MOO
Sorry if already addressed, but how do taxes apply to life insurance payouts? Was he taxed at like 40%? And IMO he maybe doesn't have all the funds in one single account.

MELANI RESPONDS: In an explosive statement released by Melani Pawlowski’s lawyer, it states Melani Pawlowski (niece of Lori Vallow) does not know the whereabouts of her aunt’s children. Melani goes on to say her ex-husband has lied to wrongfully influence the child custody case and also blames the media for reporting “one-sided and unsubstantiated accusations.”

Melani then makes her own allegations against Brandon Boudreaux and denies being in a cult.

This legal statement reads like an unhinged FB post.

Google says life insurance payouts aren't taxable, you are only taxed on interest income from payout.

I found myself wondering if the landlord will comply. He lives in Texas so the Idaho warrant is not binding on him. I would comply personally because I would want to help get her convicted. But I have reason to believe that the owners are not paying their Hawaii general excise and transient accommodation taxes so complying could get them in trouble in Hawaii. My conclusion about taxes is based on looking at the VRBO ad while it was still up, noting the tax license number they list and looking up the number, which does not exist!
hmmm... can you explain this tax license number issue more.... is it common for people who own rental property in HI to try to avoid the general excie and transient accomodation taxes???

Source? (for Lori knowing Chad's family before Tammy's death)
Ditto. This source is very important. We think they met, because Chad says "reunite with Lori", but that is just his lying process...so the source is critical.

I get what you're saying but... She hired these lawyers herself, did she not? They are not appointed public defenders. How did that first meeting happen without her introducing herself? Shouldn't that have been the first thing that happened - she (or Chad) should have given the lawyers her name? I guess she only said "I'm Lori" and the lawyers didn't ask for her last name? It just seems unprofessional/over-familiar to use "Lori" in the court motions. She's not Cher or Madonna or some other celebrity where one name would be recognizable and appropriate.
:cool::p:rolleyes:

MOO.

:) Good points … it will be interesting to see how her attorney refers to her in the next hearing.

ROFLMAO … "Cher" "Madonna" … maybe she has a one name we don't know about yet … LOL

:)

Everytime I've used Lori lately I meant her. As far as I've seen it has been the same with you. :)

(Is there an official acronym for just being a smart ... uhh, butt?)

MOO

Haha. I've actually gotten myself into some er... interesting conversations... IRL because I have a family member named Lori (and I love her). But now every time I hear someone say the name (usually referring to my family member, not this case) I think they are talking about the Lori who is currently sitting in jail in Kauai! I was so relieved when the Kauai Lori got arrested so now if someone asks me, "Hey, do you know when Lori is planning to come see us?" I don't inadvertently blurt out "I hope she doesn't know our address!" (Not that anything remotely similar to that has ever happened to me). LOL.:rolleyes::D:cool::p

What a sensational statement! I wonder if any of those accusations against BB are verifiable?? Clearly anyone from Lori's camp can't be trusted to make legitimate statements.

What the crap?!

Wow, and this case just went to a whole other level of crazy.

The attached document accuses BB of the following:

- "Proof of his 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 addiction and Homosexual affairs"
- "Failed to tell investigators that his family has covered up child molestation, drug addiction, kidnapping assaults, and even killings."
- "according to inside family information, BB's family is involved in organized crime."

LEO are going to have their hands full. MOO

How did they enter Yellowstone with Tylee and J.J., then leave with just J.J., and no one, not even J.J., was alarmed?? He's out playing in front of the house two weeks later?

Has law enforcement confirmed that they saw Lori, Alex, and JJ leave Yellowstone without Tylee? Or simply that they did not see Tylee leave? It makes me wonder if there is a possibility that the group left Yellowstone from a different location that was not captured on camera.

Remember: Brandon Boudreaux and his attorney allege Melani’s new husband has confessed to her involvement in Brandon’s attempted murder. So far it’s unclear whether they dispute if that confession has truly taken place. Gilbert PD not commenting.

Yeah, but is any of that actually true??

  • #518
I very much doubt BB would have cited Melani's husband in court documents telling law enforcement about her confession, if there was no truth in it.

All that letter does is make those lawyers representing Melani come across as unprofessional and unrespectable. The quotation marks in it aren't even attributed to anyone.

Yeah, but is any of that actually true??

That is the $64,000 question. Right now it's the classic "he said, she said."

Someone isn't being honest, potentially both of them, who knows. I'm glad I'm not personally involved with this hot mess. MOO
