Sorry if already addressed, but how do taxes apply to life insurance payouts? Was he taxed at like 40%? And IMO he maybe doesn't have all the funds in one single account.

I wasn't taxed on my dad's life insurance and it was a lump sum.

MELANI RESPONDS: In an explosive statement released by Melani Pawlowski’s lawyer, it states Melani Pawlowski (niece of Lori Vallow) does not know the whereabouts of her aunt’s children. Melani goes on to say her ex-husband has lied to wrongfully influence the child custody case and also blames the media for reporting “one-sided and unsubstantiated accusations.”

Melani then makes her own allegations against Brandon Boudreaux and denies being in a cult.

Well I thought that was a very strange letter. They don't mention the jeep surveillance and they talk about wild allegations - they seem to have pulled their own wild allegations out of a hat against BB and his family. Incredible.

The attached document accuses BB of the following:

- "Proof of his addiction and Homosexual affairs"
- "Failed to tell investigators that his family has covered up child molestation, drug addiction, kidnapping assaults, and even killings."
- "according to inside family information, BB's family is involved in organized crime."

Life insurance proceeds are not taxable.

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to get at here. That (the issue of Chad's family) wasn't the question I was addressing. I was addressing the Gray video that some are using to say Chad and Lori knew each other first in 2016. The video you're referring to says that she thinks Chad and Lori first knew each other in 2016 or 2017, probably. That's entirely consistent with the interpretation I gave.
