Yes, she said that Idaho wants to take the children and put them in foster care, therefore that is the reason she is not presenting the children.

Ok then. Has anyone heard that was Idaho’s position before? I have not or don’t remember it.

The guy in dark shirt with mustache and beard is not Chad.

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to get at here. That (the issue of Chad's family) wasn't the question I was addressing. I was addressing the Gray video that some are using to say Chad and Lori knew each other first in 2016. The video you're referring to says that she thinks Chad and Lori first knew each other in 2016 or 2017, probably. That's entirely consistent with the interpretation I gave.
It seemed that you were brushing off that Chad's FAMILY knew Lori (as opposed to Lori and Chad being peripherally aware of each other through conferences)

omg. He is unrecognizable.
No... that can't be him. Can it?

Edit: No. It's not him. Sorry I didn't have a good look.

Nobody feels sorry for you, Lori, so you can stop with the pitiful looks at the judge. We feel sorry for YOUR CHILDREN, and the people who actually love them.

I wonder if her behavior would have been different with a male judge. Maybe that's why she decided to go back to Idaho.

If people knew where the children are & that they were safe, there would be no grounds for ID to take custody of them. What a ridiculous excuse.

This doesn't look like him to me. This guy looks like he was balding & shaved the sides of his head, but Chad wasn't balding (unless he was wearing a hair piece?).

The kids are dead. It’s clear. Crazy Lori thought she was saving them from the rapture. She’ll be locked up forever (hopefully) because it doesn’t seem like insanity defense can apply. I think that is the end of this story.

Chad has changed his look! Growing mustache and beard, and shaved his head. I’m sure he wants to try not to be recognized on Kauai, such a small place

Fairly sure that is not Chad. Different nose and hair patterns.

I
The problem with that is, no one was going to do anything regarding the kids, until she refused to show the kids.

In Hawaii we have two taxes that apply to short term rentals. One is called the GET (General Excise Tax) and is pretty much the same thing as a sales tax. It applies to almost everything bought and sold in Hawaii. It is about 4.25% but actually varies a bit by county as of the last year or so because the counties can now add a surcharge. The second is called the TAT (Transient Accommodation Tax). It is about 11% or more, I have not kept track. It applies to all rentals of less than 180 days. Each tax requires a license from the state and quarterly or monthly filings/payments.

Hawaii has really started to crack down on vacation rentals. About 5 or 6 years ago they started requiring all vacation rental ads to include the tax license number. For example, if you go to:

Comfortable two bedroom condo located in the Princeville Resort at Pali Ke Ku - Princeville

You will see the ad includes the line:

Registration Number: TA-008-552-5504-01, GE-008-552-5504-01

Those are the tax license numbers. I can then go to https://hitax.hawaii.gov

Enter T-008-552-5504 as the new customer ID (not a typo, T not TA or GE) and I will find that the owner has the proper licences and is in good standing.

That's just an example. When I previously did that for the place they were staying I could not match the numbers to an actual license. It's possible he is paying his taxes and there was just a type or something.

It is very common for people to try to avoid paying those taxes and the state is getting very aggressive.
Thanks a lot. Now that you explain, it is a bit like the "Tourist Development Tax" (bed tax) in FL. Maybe a typo..but strange they would put one that is innacurate.

One question though: Did anyone catch what Lori was saying to her lawyer at the end?

MOO
I thought it was about arranging for Chad to visit her. But that was just my impression, I'm not a lip reader. MOO
