I don’t agree. If Idaho’s warrants indicated they wanted to take the children into foster care that news would have been splashed everywhere. I do not believe that is the position of Idaho in the January warrant. The attorney might only be repeating what LV told him and would have plausible deniability



Foster care has never been mentioned. Not sure why some here think this is some revelation when that news would have been all over the media. I wish someone would find a copy of the January warrant and confirm,

please note that in my response I am not defending her or any of her actions. However, it certainly would not fit the news narrative to have stated that the threat of foster care was being leveraged. So to me it is entirely possible that it was kept out of any new story because it conveniently makes the case look more damaging to her. Let’s face it, the media has become very news hungry on this now high profile case.

The reality is also, that if her attorney and therefore she lied in court about that statement, that is a huge problem to lie in court to a judge

Exactly. The state of Idaho didn't even know they were missing until late November. Why did she need to disappear them when custody wasn't even an issue? Plus, who was trying to get custody of Tylee who, by the way, will soon be a legal adult at 18.

Yep. Her attorney in the divorce/custody case is a different attorney and law firm.

What is interesting is that she has been interviewed 3 times by the FBI. If she told so much as one lie, even if it is immaterial to whatever the FBI is investigating, she is going to get charged.

By the way, for those that are watching for activity, keep an eye on the Maricopa County Jail. You need first name, last name, and date of birth to search which you can get from some convenient sources like copies of Clark County, NV marriage licenses, for example. People arrested in Maricopa on out of state warrants or federal warrants will not show up in criminal court case searches on the Maricopa County court web site.

I've been trying to watch and searched everywhere for that darn date of birth! Forgot about that license. Thanks!

I didn’t literally mean to say you were defending her. Sorry if it came across that way. The point is regardless of the media and whatever narrative they want to portray, that info would be in the January warrant. I don’t believe it is so her claim is nonsense.

That was a VERY interesting piece of information from her attorney, because if untrue means that he(attorney) and she (LV) is lying in court. Which makes me think that it was a truthful statement. And honestly I think that provides her with a great defense for not producing the children, if idaho authorities were threatening to put them in foster care

Perhaps I have this wrong. I thought that once she refused to prove the children were ok and missed the court deadline, the court stated the kids would go into custody?

Sorry if already addressed, but how do taxes apply to life insurance payouts? Was he taxed at like 40%? And IMO he maybe doesn't have all the funds in one single account.

I am catching up on threads so I expect this question has already been answered. As I understand, life insurance proceeds are not taxed. MOO
