Yes, it's not Chad. The guy doesn't even resemble Chad, not even a little.

Dang! I really wanted to be Mrs America. My dreams are shattered. :D

If anyone can catch that last conversation between her and her lawyer that would be great!! I thought I caught, "not of my own doing" but not sure... hope we have an expert here!!!

I'm sorry for the false photo. I guess I wanted him to be there a little too much. Confirmation bias. I saw the first comment that he was there in the dark shirt during the live feed. It stuck. I screen capped and posted it before looking closer. Again. I'm sorry.

That was a VERY interesting piece of information from her attorney, because if untrue means that he(attorney) and she (LV) is lying in court. Which makes me think that it was a truthful statement. And honestly I think that provides her with a great defense for not producing the children, if idaho authorities were threatening to put them in foster care
Well for me.... "the apple does not fall far from the tree", in regards to thinking the government is out to get cha.

Perhaps I have this wrong. I thought that once she refused to prove the children were ok and missed the court deadline, the court stated the kids would go into custody?

But it could have been prevented by showing the kids. A foster care threat didn't start all of this. Lori is the chicken in the chicken egg scenario.

The court order was to submit the kids to the custody of child protection for evaluation. I don't think any state would consider it to be a valid reason to flee or violate a court order.
When child protection takes custody, they have to stay somewhere. They don’t put them in a hotel by themselves or keep them at their office. They place them in a foster home, sometimes very short term, but it is still a foster home.

Regarding her hair, can any women please comment if she’s wearing extensions? To me it looks like it, especially at the front. I also noticed it on the dateline episode.

I found it very interesting to hear about her previous history of leaving with the children when she was supposed to appear with them ... those charges show her lack of respect for law enforcement and the duty of the court to protect the children. She seemed to have gotten away with this in the past, so this has no doubt emboldened her in this current situation with the kids and the court! But seriously that judge is my hero, she shut that down, her decision on bail stood and I was so impressed that she not only confirmed her decision but spelled it out clearly for the court!! She was not messin around in there!!

I don't think Lori knows exactly where the two kids are. When they went to Yellowstone and only JJ came back Alex wouldn't have "disposed" of Tylee with JJ watching. I think Alex left JJ and Lori some place in the park and went down the road and came back without Tylee. Probably telling JJ that Tylee was picked up by someone. So, Lori may have known that Tylee was no longer alive but this was all planned so that Lori was not present at the horrible event. Similarly, I doubt that Lori knows exactly where JJ is since she probably told Alex not to tell her where his body is. (IMO). Alex is doing all the killing and attempted killing and may have also been responsible for Chad's wife's fate. So, I think it was planned for Lori to not know where the kids bodies are and neither she or Melanie in fact do not know where the kids are, only Alex knew.

Interesting perspective, but I disagree. I think she knows everything and planned it all herself. She may have told Alex what to do but I think she was the one driving the bus (not to be confused with the Jeep, LOL). Lori likely has a need to be in control. MOO.

Basically, grandparents filed for custody of JJ to avoid him being put in foster care. But again, he has to be alive for anyone to get custody.

It's okay. You've gone above and beyond to answer questions and share your thoughts here at WS. And, your post gave me a little room for my horrible humor. Glad you're still sticking around with all of us!

They have to be alive to be put into anyone's custody. If they were alive and were taken into foster care, seems there is little doubt since they have relatives willing to take them in, they wouldn't have stayed in foster care for long.

I agree but the point is it is true she lost custody but not a valid reason to disregard it either!
