I was in the courtroom today. Was in the area so decided to stop in and listen. At one point she looked behind her to where chad sat last week. It seemed to me she was looking to see if he was there, but that’s just based on my observation.

Hey!! I wondered if we would have anybody in there! That’s awesome! So just to be certain, that was NOT Chad with the dark shirt, bald head and beard sitting next to the reporter?

WOW just Wow so Melani is initially happy to leave her children with BB just 2 weeks after he was shot at and even though they were in real potential danger - as per reported text exchange on Justin Lum ( reporters ) webpage? Yet she now alleges that she should have custody because he, BB is a danger to the children?
Am I reading this correctly? I don’t want to misinterpret anything!!

Welcome, Nosurprise. If it's not in MSM or official legal documents we really can't discuss it here. The best way is to send your info to a reporter. Nate Eaton or Justin Lum have been doing a wonderful job on this case so far. Once a member of the press verifies your info and publishes it, then we can discuss. Otherwise it's rumors and we are not allowed to spread rumors here on Websleuths.

What if it's your own first hand encounter or experience with the person/people in question? I would assume that's ok and have certainly read several posts from people who encountered or thought they encountered Israel Keyes for example. Just curious, I don't know anyone associated with this case, but I would think people involved first hand would be invaluable in helping piece together this puzzle.

I must say that I've been impressed with the judge. She seems to be bending over backwards to make sure everything is clear to Lori. Did you notice that? Every sentence, she said, do you have any questions? Is that clear?

I agree with the earlier comment, though, that I bet Lori would have been much happier with a male judge . JMO.

Not on her defense team and am not defending her. Just observing that the bail amount is extremely high for Hawaii. That's ok but if the case drags on because Idaho doesn't act fast enough to follow the process I could see the judge reducing it. Remember, the prosecutor asked for a hearing date at least a week later and the judge denied that. I definitely don't think teh judge will reduce bail to a point Lori/Chad can afford.

Okay, I will play along, for the sake of civil debate. First, regarding the bail amount, would you provide a Hawaii legal statute, regarding the current amount of bail for Lori Vallow? MOO
