Is anyone else old enough to remember the history of Nightline news? Every night, for over a year, there was a national news update on the Iran hostages that aired after the local news at 10 or 11. The whole country (well, most of us...) were hooked on that program.

Anyway, I need a dedicated national broadcast with a nightly update from Justin.

Sure doesn't appear this letter is about what it reflects; parts of this letter feel like they have a lot of innuendo and some double entendres, plus pulling a book together and publishing it for release within a little over 2 months seems implausible.

I hope LE is checking any statements in it can be fact-checked, i.e., did CV typically speak at conferences, and were there conferences CV would be speaking at in the fall? Had Chad ever really stayed with the family previously?

Two timeframes overall: come visit before (over?) the holiday, and the fall. And we all know what happened shortly after the holiday and in the fall: a man was shot dead, and two children went missing.

I don't understand. How is their investigating it and finding the email suspicious make you think they aren't going to charge her? We don't know everything they know, so this could be the last dot they need to connect everything.

It is indeed. As in so many cases, it's tough to tell if someone is mentally ill, just evil, or a combination of both. It sounds as if Charles and Adam were trying to get her some mental help, but the rest of the family was in denial.

ETA: I don't mean to imply that people are born "evil"; it's just that some of them learn to behave that way.

Yeah, 600-something likes and 1900 follows. That means 1/3 of the people curious enough to follow the page figured out how to follow it rather than like it, something that many people never do even if they realize it can be done. I'd say that means 2/3 of that count are people who don't "like" the page. (I'm in those 2/3rds.) In comparison, a page I have has 2674 likes and only 30 more follows.

I'm glad you posted that. Normally, we aren't allowed to link to family's social media but I asked a few threads ago and got permission from @Tricia to post Annie's blog Timeline and her Twitter posts on this case.

Annie's idea there is brilliant. I wish she would come post with us here as a VI. But maybe we can help her with this project/idea.

BACKGROUND
We now know my niece, Tylee Ryan, was last seen in Yellowstone National Park on Sep 8, 2019 with her little brother, JJ, her mother, Lori Vallow Daybell, and her uncle, Alex Cox. This is the date she was last seen, and it looks like she was gone by Sep 18, when a nanny said there was no sign that Tylee lived in Lori's Rexburg apartment.

THE OBJECTIVE
Law Enforcement has to wait until some of the snow melts in the park to start searching for Tylee there. And I'm sure they have GPS data from their cell phones that they are using or have used to triangulate an area(s) to search. But pictures of this dastardly duo with or without Tylee could provide assistance with regard to timestamps that can be pulled from the metadata.

THE NEED
Does anyone know someone with the chops to write a script that would scrape all social shares on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram that use Yellowstone related hashtags and checkins? If I had these in a spreadsheet, I have an army of volunteers from various Facebook groups who could go through these posts and reach out to each of these people to ask them to look through their pics for any pics of Tylee and company for that day.

I'm, of course, more than happy to pay for this person's time.

It's a long shot, but there's the chance someone might have unwittingly captured pictures of the family. I once saw an episode of Forensic Files where a guy was convicted because of the leaves that were found in the bed of his truck. So stranger things have happened.

Can you imagine putting together all the evidence to convict LVD & CD? Trying first to find the kids, then piecing together all that has come to light. AZ has a big weight with 2 deaths & one attempted murder, not to mention the kids lived there before their disappearance or TD's death. All the states involved coordinating their next step to what they will charge next or when.

They all know more than any of us. Really hoping it busts wide open soon. Today's news about the emails opens a new thought that maybe CD was in AZ and possibly involved in CV's death. I'm sure that's been checked out too.

It took me two days to even grasp this whole sad case with all of the players when it hit the news. Then all the other players, the cults belief, LDS beliefs, the states involved. Not to mention 5 husbands...It's just too crazy to know where to start. That poor jury.

It sounds like a woman—to me. I think it was emphasized three times “ stay with us, like before”. The tone wasnt very business or fraternal. She is calculating as hell. 28 years and five children. Tammy deserved waaaay better than this.

Would it be possible to go after what Annie is looking for in another way as well? Someone creates a photo post for Instagram (etc) that includes text over a photo of Alex, Lori, Tylee and JJ with details requesting photos taken by YNP visitors on the date in question that seem to have A,L,Tylee and JJ in them? Hashtag it with all the things and share the crud out of it, so that (hopefully) the right eyes sift their photos and get them back to Annie? I'm no Instagram expert....would that get at what Annie is after....or would that get what Annie is after + entirely too much noise to sort through?

Well, CV DID entitle said email "Chad Letter from Lori", which might not be good enough as proof for LE standards, but is good enough for mine.

I now believe that Lori wrote the letter for Chad to hand to Tammy as fakery.
