I had not heard that one.

I haven't studied it in detail, but it appears from what people are saying that the July 2020 date is one that's pointed to by a number of quite different movements.

Every year, there are a number of different movements that zero in on a new date - sometimes twice a year.

It'll sweep through the internet and through local church services. Last year, someone I know shared his own prophecy broadly (for rapture in August 2019, he had all kinds of ad hoc reasoning and Bible quotations). He's amassed quite an email base. He literally hounded friends and family, but the people who decided he was right were ones he'd met online.

I think he got the exact date from someone else online, and then added his own "prophecies" to it.

Zac being mentioned as a household member on the CV body cam brings me back to thinking about the interviews this last month from Lori’s family. Trying again to decipher their intentions and involvement. They have all been asked if they believe Lori is in a cult? If they were even remotely involved in these beliefs—fringe of the fringe—Why would they say “Yes” due to the negative connotation alone? So maybe truth from their perspective on that statement=She is not in a cult anymore than they are. What else is “true” from their perspective and not reality.
Isn’t Zac the same nephew that is now blasting Lori on Twitter? This young man may a key to piecing together some of this puzzle.

Has anyone seen this? I messed up posting it in the incorrect place. However, I am wondering what the reason would be for CD taking all of the families belongings to the landfill. Is he planning to skip town ? We know LE has to be watching his every move. If he is getting rid of all his old furniture and plans on replacing it, why is he changing the plates on the cars? Does this man really think that he can out smart LE? I have been digging for more on this , but have been unable to find anything else. Perhaps someone here knows more.
What's the source for these messages?
The family would have to change license plates periodically every few years due to Idaho regulations. People who buy new cars do the same. Local neighbors have also recently cleaned up their yards and had things hauled to landfills for spring cleaning or other projects. The homes inhabited by the family members are old and might periodically have need of updates as well.
I wouldn't put much stock into the idea that they're trying to move. Even if they were, they have a right to.

ETA: I found the reference on Reddit. Wonder where the original post was...

ETA2: I found the original poster. I'd trust her information.

ETA3: I would trust the information that the things occurred as noted. I'm not sure on the intent of the alleged actions.

I didn't know what to make of it when I first saw it either. Chad came into some money recently so replacing some old furniture would not necessarily be too suspicious. Then again, people don't usually dispose of a bunch of household items.

Regarding spring cleaning, I would think that would be done after the snow is gone and the ground has dried out. Is that the case there now or is it muddy still?

But COVID restrictions may have precluded visiting the landfill. Or schedules.

True. o_O I know the one over by the airport was still operating. I’m not saying they were up to anything. We are constantly cleaning and getting rid of things no matter the time of year. All jmo

I'm surprised people are not following Chad around, being a smal town and all. I don't mean stalking or anything, just watching his comings and goings.

Eh idk. A lot of places are doing delivery or carside pickup. Plus I’m sure he knows other people or his kids who can do errands for him. And I barely run into people I know while doing errands. All jmo

I've lived in Rexburg for over thirty years, but I'm not an active Mormon so I'm out of the loop, and I've never heard anything about this kind of a group here. Doesn't mean that there isn't. It might explain why Chad hasn't been arrested yet and why it seems nothing is happening. If it's even bigger and involves more people, that will take time to sort out. I keep going back to something Nate Eaton of EIN said in the second (I believe) Dateline special. He said he got a call form (law enforcement?) and they tipped him off. They said imagine the most wild, out-there story you can and multiply it by 100. Sorry, I don't remember the exact quote but it stuck in my mind. Maybe it's going to blow us all away when it all comes out.
There is a YouTube video out there from a seemingly sincere well intended faithful Mormon, I think he said he was in Southern California. Anyway, he describes being an AVOW subscriber and becoming disenchanted with them because of certain strong personalities in the group claiming to have prophetic dreams(and he felt they were false prophets). Sound familiar? Apparently he was about to drop his membership when he was kicked out. I don’t think I am allowed to link the video here because it’s just one mans story on YouTube, not msm. However, my takeaway is that the crazy believers number more than Lori and Chad. Even so, I don’t see how JJ and Tylee are of any significance to the greater cause so no clear motivation for the GROUP to assist in hiding them somewhere. I think only Lori and Chad benefit. JMOO

I sent my brother some of the Mow books/writings and the podcast with Jason, Melanie and Lori. He was just livid how he felt they were manipulating and twisting very specific elements within the Book of Mormon to achieve this "worship me" scenario. All Mow's book are about wars and warriors.

It truly does seem to be such an evil and slippery slope to mess with peoples' minds this way.

Not that my point really adds anything new to the the discussion -- I think many have indicated that "warrior" is a popular theme in Mormonism -- but I did a search for "warrior" on the Deseret Book website and found 453 hits. Many of them are actually not to warriors, but you might be interested to see how this theme resonates even within mainstream Mormonism. I'm sure it's just as strong in more extreme corners of Mormonism

She could have just been going to the temple grounds every day. It is very beautiful, and has palm trees, flowers, water features, etc., the kind of environment she seems to enjoy. She could pray all she wants there, to whomever she chooses. Moo.

Wouldn't Lori and Charles have Temple Recommends?
In the newly released bodycam video from the night Charles returned to find his truck missing etc, it looks like he is wearing "Mormon Garments" and he mentions to the LEO that his bishop is on scene. That bishop is Gabe Bonilla apparently IMO
Chad and Tammy would also have Temple Recommends IMO given Chad's position because he held some position in his ward and they were married in the Temple, also MOO

Because a temple recommend is an individual and personal thing, confirming someone has or doesn’t have one becomes tricky. You can have one but it needs renewed from time to time. It’s also possible to have a recommend and lose the privileges, meaning you are no longer worthy. You can choose to work back to renew one. But you can still be endowed despite losing privileges to the temple.

As far as if Lori and Chad still we’re current recommend holders at the time of their marriage is unknown. Unless you are their bishop or stake president or they confirm themselves it’s unclear on their standing.

All jmo.

Edit to add: you can hold callings in a ward with or without a temple recommend.

@SleuthD-o-doubleg, thank you! Really appreciate your perspective and knowledge about so many aspects of this case

The religious beliefs are just a side show of the fact that Lori and Chad are psychopaths. The sooner CD is behind bars, the better. Hoping that he get charged soon.

I don't see LVD as a dependent personality, who blindly followed CD. That dynamic was obvious with Wanda Barzee and David Mitchell. LVD is far more manipulative. She was a piece of work, even before she met CD.

A very small transcript, about a minute long, from the first video (about 2:30mins to 3:20mins):

31st Jan 2019

Officer: So she’s speaking as a spiritual being?

Charles Vallow: She’s not here, she’s lost her reality.

O: Is this just all recent or has it been going on?

CV: It’s been going on for about 4 or 5 years, it’s gotten really, really bad lately. She goes to the temple every day and speaks with Moroni and Jesus Christ and they tell her what to do. And now she came here today and last couple days she says I’m not Charles, uh ‘you’re not Charles, you’re Nick Schneider’. I don’t know where she gets these names from. She’s got all this stuff, these people in Utah who tell her how many past lives she’s had, and probations she’s had, and she was married to Moroni back way back when, she was also married to James the Just in a…

O: Okay this is all foreign to me.

CV: It’s just as foreign to me…

O: Well I’m not LDS

CV: It’s crazy stuff.

O: And are you using LDS terms here?

CV: Yes, but it’s just she’s, she’s non-sensical.
I pray his testimony from the grave is the damning evidence that will throw away LVD’s key! She is so dark she couldn’t withstand Charles’ light, IMO!

I'm not trying to be argumentative about this, I'm still willing to be wrong, but I just have to point out that once you get past the first items which are things like individual song lyrics from each of the songs in the musical Saturday's Warrior, and a few stripling warrior items (I was surprised to see more than one or two, but let's be honest, most of those things are just lame money grabs), this search also pulled every item for Star Wars, Warren Buffet, and apparently the term Ward, which is the LDS word for congregation. So, I just don't think the number 453 should be taken as any sort of representation. The true number is probably <75, and then you have to subtract about 20 for all the songs in Saturday's Warrior ;)

I don't think Lori will ever be charged for Charles' murder. We already know Alex did the deed. I think Lori may have set him up but I doubt any convincing evidence will ever be found. I think all the speculation that Tylee witnessed something and that is why she is gone actually points to Lori's innocence in a conspiracy. If they conspired to set things up Tylee would not have been there. Lori would have found a way for her to be elsewhere. JJ is simply not a reliable witness, no because he is autistic but because he is too young to comprehend situations. So we are left with Alex's confession and no further evidence. That's reasonable doubt. As I said before, any evidence of Alex and Lori being together, communicating and so forth is easily explained. The only exception would be if there is email/text evidence and the content implicates her.

This is a great summation, just wanted to make it clear to those not familiar with Mormon vernacular that you begin to wear garments after you're "endowed". Once endowed, it is totally possible to wear the garment without a current recommend--say your recommend expired and you couldn't get a new one, possibly for years, many would still wear the garments that entire time. There are also personal reasons (most often health issues) one would not wear the garments that do not preclude you from being a temple recommend holder. So, although the two are linked, they are not necessarily a direct indicator of anything.

Must not fit the decor of the new double wide....or it all just won’t fit. ;)
