Lol! Imo everything I’ve heard about Tammy was that she was incredibly smart and so friendly. It doesn’t surprise me if she was running the company

I believe there are some posts on his Spring Creek Book publishing website too. That website was still up at the beginning of this case.

I am now on the fence -- while my first instinct is they are no longer alive, the more I read and listen to other's ideas, they may be in hiding. UGH-- I just don't know what to think right now.

I think I lean more towards my first instinct that they are no longer alive.
There are just too many people in their lives who have died to not believe the kids are deceased also.

It seems like LVD, CD MP, IP, ZP are a part of a much larger group that seem to be LIVING the play script right out of CD's BOOKS.

I haven't read one of his books, but just reading the reviews and the brief description of the "End of the World" series, it appears they are living it, which is scary/creepy enough.

Yes, as we see in criminal cases, when the defense wants to get their message out to create reasonable doubt, they get followers of their client to go on interviews with national MSM to espouse and blather on, and not answer direct questions as they must get to their "talking points". Main objective: Create reasonable doubt looking for holes to do so, especially folks who are usually considered critical thinkers. (less and less these days MOO)

Consider that this is also happening on social media. Talking points to test the waters to see if it creates reasonable doubt.

If I go by the last "48 Hours" episode: On one side there are Lori's relatives who believe in her innocence no matter what. They are willing to help her by lying. On the other side two of her former friends (AR and MG), who are more familiar with Lori's beliefs, are inclined to accept that she is capable of harming the kids.

Ahhh, but really dissect what is coming out of their mouths. They are spinning the truth, and sometimes at best just misleading with comments? e.g. "I never heard that come out of her mouth" is perhaps akin to someone saying "I did not have sex with that woman". IYKWIM.

It could be those exact words were never said, or they read/knew otherwise.. and beware of the words "I believe" (especially when used with "in my heart" as a qualifier as that doesn't attest to a fact.) I could take a transcript and rip it apart as to such MOO.

e.g. a simple question of "when did you learn the kids were missing" went on for 5 minutes as to answer... and the question was NEVER answered. Just using the question to espousing talking points MOO.

According to that book of Chad's that I read, it appears that the final battle(s) is/are going to be fought by a children's army.

I do not guarantee the accuracy of my memory. Also, it was billed as fiction.

Also, I am by no means defending anybody, or advocating their position. But it does seem to fit with what he's been saying for years. I guess when somebody has been "out there" for that long, it's hard to measure the degrees of crazy...

Other missing children? Yes lots. In fact there’s one ein just reported on today. I feel like every few days I hear of someone missing. Whether it’s connected or not is another story imo.

Perhaps there is a “camp” for these kids. But imo it would take some pretty skewed thinking to believe they are doing what’s right. If this camp does truly exist, imo I would think it’s on a farm or bunker underground or even a remote cabin area.

I do know there are some groups that are splinter from the LDS religion (whether it’s connected is unknown) that live in this east Idaho area. We often see them at Walmart grocery shopping or the car wash in groups cleaning their cars. They are usually several women and a couple children with them; usually groups of 10 people at a time.

My family in Montana reports that similar groups are seen around Livingston/Bozeman/Gardiner area. Some LDS, some antigovernment, some other end-of-world cults.

There are still a few old Church Universal and Triumphant folks around even after their second coming failed. They seem positively normal compared to the newcomers.

Two more things I’ve found: there appears to be no new posts after the last one on August 24, 2019. Is this around the time Lori moved to Rexburg?

I saw the website before it was purged. Spring Creek Books was a pretty active publishing company in the area of lightweight prepper stuff--cookbooks, how to garden, how to dehydrate your own food (I was tempted to get that one), how to find supplies for things like medication and first aid for your standard one-year stash--as well as Chad's fiction and a few books by other people. I don't know anything directly about its finances, but it looked like a standard small niche press, possibly more profitable than many. Just guessing there.

I don't know whether it started going downhill after Tammy died--I'm guessing yes--but I don't think it really went under until Deseret Press dropped him and JR, which was after all the news about the kids broke. I have some more detailed analysis back in some of the earliest threads but I'm not sure where. If I get time this afternoon, I'll go look.

What do you mean the main entrance? There’s parking behind the townhomes and you can enter in from each side (see pictures).
