Press conference very brief. Yes, they've recovered human remains but no further info on number of persons or any other info. Yes, Chad Daybell taken in for questioning.

So human remains were definitely found. That’s murder of someone. We don’t know who or if there is more than one. Chad has to answer now.

This all happened quickly which leads me to believe the remains are in tact. If they were not, it would have taken a lot longer to discern if they were human remains (i.e. if they were burned in a pit). Really curious who talked!

Investigators are not taking questions because they do not want to speculate on remains found. Say Chad Daybell has been taken into custody for questioning on the unidentified remains. Will NOT specify if remains of multiple bodies found.

Yes, they did search back in January, same location. At that time it was reported they seized 40+ various items at his house.

Rexburg Police confirms human remains found in search in Daybell property. The identities are unknown at this time. #fox10phoenix

So he confirmed human remains found during the course of the investigation and that Chad Daybell was in custody. Took no questions but thanked friends and family involved in the case. Remains not identified yet. Will advise more when they have more.

BREAKING: Human remains discovered at Daybell residence

"Assistant Police Chief Gary Hagen said during the investigation into missing children J.J. Vallow and Tylee Ryan, investigators have recovered what’s believed to be human remain which have not yet been identified at this time.

Hagen said officers are not going to take any questions, and a press release we'll be made available later today.

UPDATE: East Idaho News reports Chad Daybell has been taken into police custody while law enforcement agencies conduct a search of his home and property in eastern Idaho.

East Idaho News reports witnesses informed them Daybell was pulled over one mile south of his home around 11:30 a.m., where he was placed in handcuffs and put into a police car."

I Saw earlier that Nate was in helicopter and FBI/LE at Chad's house then I just checked back and now CHAD HAS BEEN ARRESTED !!!!
YAY !! I had complete faith in LE--they always need time to get ducks in a row before they can move forward.

The LE officer did not provide any more details about the remains. There is no telling at this point if its more than one person or not. Just that they definitely found what they believe to be human remains.
