Do they often use backhoes when searching for remains or other evidence?

Yikes, in the video I tried to count the vehicles parked nearby: this one search.
Imagine the cost.
These criminals cost the taxpayers millions.

I think I counted 31. Well, roughly. Jmo

Good catch. I wonder if they were planning on working into the night, and things just went a lot faster than expected.

Yeah, that or night security? I'm assuming they aren't done since the backhoe is still there and the tent is just lowered. Jmo

They were too arrogant, cocky and self righteous to think it was a stupid idea.

Yet these idiots have followers.
As we see, around us, loads of creeps have followers, many creeps being almost worshiped, while the creeps collect their dough, in whatever means they can.

Looks like a lot of hard work will be going on tonight on the property.
:(

Man, I feel so bad for the grandparents & Colby.

Surely Mr. Sexton didn't put them in coffins. Jmo

I feel pretty sure LE has had Tylee and JJ dental records for some time, so I think it would be a pretty quick ID if they are the kids that may be why we are getting a second presser tonight.
They should also know if the body is an adult or a child right away.

That would explain nobody wanting to give straight answers re the Vegas weddings around that date. MOO

Argh. I'd (mercifully) forgotten about the "Whoops, we're in Vegas on a whim and look who we ran into!" coincidental marriage storyline. You're right -- there's a window for something ugly right there.

Following timelines/narratives of the main players in this case is like asking a toddler to give a detailed account of her day, but without any of the magical strangeness, wit, charm or truthy bits.

Its over chad your're done.

The creep has had loads of time after his actions, thinking what a 'smartie'.
Let's see the two idiots fall apart quickly.

The thing that really surprises me most is that this implicates Chad so much more and Alex so much less. I had thought Alex was given the job of murder and disposal, possibly not even telling LVD and CD where the bodies were. So glad they are found, but heartbroken.
Yes—I had a long, remote stretch of road between Rexburg and Chandler as a final resting spot for one or both children, thanks to good ol’ funny Uncle Al.

Mods, can we please have a new thread before the presser in half an hour?

She's going to use the mental health evaluation Charles requested to back up her ******** defense.
I wonder if she is too much of a narcissist and will refuse to be labeled as mentally ill. She has a pretty big ego.

What url for the livestream?

It has to be Tylee and JJ. It can't be anyone else. They had to have had a tip with the exact location IMO. So it had to be Lori realistically, unless Chad has done a deal to get the lesser charge of evidence concealment. Only those two would know the location IMO.

Good point. Being away from the home also means he is in the public domain so it helps LE to have arrested him in a public area and not on his personal property. Not that they couldnt have done it there too but it removes any concern of him claiming he was on his personal property. Eliminates any loophole in the law along those lines.

We have a case in Australia, on a remote property, where the suspect killed himself, walking into another room, as Police were present, to question him, as to 'where his missing wife' may be.
She has not been found.
So 'picking up' while driving often used.

I would guess that Alex Cox knew where they were at.
