Sure you do. The medical or forensic examination of a dead body is handled as an autopsy, no matter what condition it's in. The remains needs to be documented, examined, possibly tested microscopically, by DNA analysis, possibly toxicologic tested, xrayed. There is a lot of information that can be detected, depending on the situation.

My point was basically that if they found bones it would be unlikely to be the kids. I don't think bodies in the ground in Idaho would decompose that quickly over the winter. So IF they had only found bones that would point to it not being the kids. I am all but 100% convinced now that it is the kids and and we are only waiting for confirmation from DNA or dental records. CP seems to be trying to create a false narrative that only bones were found.

But they had cadaver dogs so I would not think it woud take the dogs more than a few minutes to alert on teh exact spot. It is not a huge property. Looks liek only a couple of acres to me.

Dogs or not, they couldn’t get another warrant without additional evidence. Something changed and dogs can’t be the basis for a warrant.

Edit: Nate did say at about the 16 min mark that dogs were present but the area was taped off from the minute he got there. Assuming dogs are pretty precise would it not be strange to have several huge areas marked off?

What was Alex’s motive for killing the kids. Was he molesting Tylee? Freelance Dark Spirit slayin’? Or, seriously, cleaning up witnesses from the Charles murder? If Chud and Sorry provide any evidence that it was related to CV’s murder, then they’ll have to ... acknowledge that it was murder. That gets them out of one frying pan into another, Not good.

Not necessarily. Lori could say that AC often acted on his own to remove obstacles in Lori's life or threats to her kids. He had a conviction for assault against Joe Ryan. Personally I do NOT think AC did anything to the kids. I just think he is the obvious scapegoat. They can argue that Tylee saw Alex kill Charles without being attacked and AC killed her to eliminate a witness. None of that implicates Lori in CV's murder. Again, I think her and AC planned it, but I don't think there is enough evidence to convict her given AC is dead.

Journalistically, I don't like that the reporter cut off the end of the interview and what the Mayor said after "oh".... he kept talking but it was cut off. I would have liked to have seen the raw footage of what he said.

IMO, they have some damning evidence against her because she was telling people they were 'safe' and tucked away with other caretakers. What can she say about that now?
