Make a family tree as you go, it's really complicated.

Yes, this is one of the most complicated cases I have ever tried to follow.

Thanks to everyone who has followed this from the start because we have some good case experts here that know much more about this case than I have been able to gather.

I finally think I have the main players down but I still get confused so I rely on others here to help get us out of the woods.

Thanks everyone. It is an incredible case and a complicated one.

MSM really took off last night. Starting to see major networks covering the breaking news last night. If CD and Lori wanted to keep a low profile and hide out in Hawaii, Epic Fail now. :)

A grave digger and a cop? Hmmm. That makes me wonder if he knew the right people who would cover up Tammys death.

We don't know this info about Chad being in LE.... we need the original poster to document..... please don't keep that info as "real" until we get verified proof

Does the W's having guardianship circumvent that? Hope so.

Last I knew the State of Idaho still had legal custody of JJ and Tylee. But the custody hearings have been closed to the public (sealed) so it could have been decided and we are unaware (or I could have missed info). I hope Kay and Larry will be allowed to lay JJ to rest in their home state of LA where he was born and I hope Colby can take his sister Tylee and give her a burial/memorial somewhere meaningful (maybe with the help of Tylee's Aunt Annie). I hope the Cox's (Lori's family) don't get any say over where the kids are lain to rest after the way they have defended and covered for Lori while showing no concern for Tylee and JJ's whereabouts at all. MOO.

100% speculation and musing.

What if Tammy arrived home earlier than anticipated after her church group and surprised someone digging a grave?

Jmo
It begs another question: Why didn't LE find the burial sites when they investigated that night and were all over the property?

Does anyone have a link to the sheriffs you tube addrsss he mentioned last night for the 11:00 today? And what time zone is the 11:00?

  • #286
He's not really even that good at digging a grave.....

ha ha ha.........i dunno...just funny to think about that! Loser at lots of things..

Also, do we know when Chad will see a judge on the present charges?

I hope that gives LE enough time to bring new charges. But that might not matter because he might get a huge/no bail on the present charges.

  • #288
Well that’s an added charge. Fleeing the scene of a crime. And avoiding arrest. LE were smart to let him drive off. IMO.

Strategic from legal point of view... so he is a "flight risk" now? 90 minutes to court... looking for live feed for his charge..and awaiting change of her charge?... sitting on hands....

I'm so sorry. But I don't know who everyone is by the initials. Would you be willing to leave out a few characters but keep enough so you can tell me who each person is? Again, very sorry to ask. TIA I do know LV and CD.
MP is LV's niece and MG is LV's close friend. Both women gave long televised interviews with East Idaho news and have the first name Melani(e).
HTH :-)
Post 1 has a link to a long timeline where you will probably find all the characters mentioned.

You mean Jan 3?? Snow on ground, and at that time they were really investigating around Tammy's death, so prob Fremont County, right? This event yesterday, was Rexburg, and only about the kids.

correction:: I see that the search on Jan 3 was also about the kids, not Tammy. That might be more relevant as we learn more..

East Idaho News
LIVE: Police continue search on Chad Daybell’s property for a second day
Road is blocked again in both directions as they continue to search again and more vehicles drive in.

What do you think they are looking for with the backhoe that was brought in?

Will we learn anything new at the 11:00 PC today?
(It is currently about 8:30 in Idaho now)

Nate is doing a great job covering this.

Yeah me too. Where was he planning to go? Did he think he could outrun the police? Gee.

It's going to be interesting, as that he was pulled over at 11:30 am two blocks from his house (see Gray Huze video matching up the street shots). That was pretty much the same time they found the "remains".

Look forward to the updated timeline!

Will Means be representing Chad in court today?

  • #296
Lori's been in jail for 4 months. Chad probably won't make it 4 days. MOO.

They showed up around 7:00am for the search. Where was CD?

Chad Daybell arrested after human remains reportedly found on his property

Police took Daybell into custody about a mile from his home as numerous police officers and FBI agents served the search warrant.
......
“We saw a car fly past us, a silver car, and a bunch of cops behind him. They ended up circling him and getting him to pull over. And then we turned around and went back and Chad Daybell was getting arrested," said Brittany Chapple, who was in a car on Salem Highway at the time Daybell was taken into custody.

Chapple said she recognized Daybell from news coverage about the disappearances of the two kids, and because she lives a few miles from Daybell's residence.

"My son thinks that he saw [Daybell] on the ground when they were arresting him, and then, when we flipped back around, he was standing up and he was handcuffed," Chapple added.

Oh wish we had a pic of him on the ground too. She did well getting the video.

@Topppps This too!! Pen and paper definitely needed for this one.

haha! soooo true. I actually have a bound record book. i really do--with all the "non-postable" sleuthing, the players, the locations, the "good" and the "lousy" msm.... yep it has been quite the journey.

I suppose it's because they weren't searching for bodies on the property... as that search was related to Tammy's death (not the disappearance of the children). A search warrant is limited in scope and that warrant was different than the one issued yesterday. jmo

I think he means the night of the "paintball gun" incident in October. Its a good question I think.
