Her children were deceased before she married CD. He is not even a stepfather, so I can see them using "her" children. JMO

Did you read the statement?

If you read the statement, it says “her children” referring to Tammy.

That means that Chad’s parents, his brother, and the other family members that issued that statement consider Tammy to be the parent of her and Chad’s children.

If those words were intentionally chosen, that’s a pretty big disowning of Chad from his own family.

Does that make sense?

Well well. Unless I'm just having some huge wifi blip over one site. AVOW is down. Jmo

Interesting as they lifted all previous bans on the discussion of the topic and "You are FREE TO DISCUSS any and all things related to Chad"

Maybe they had a server meltdown with that topic being opened.

@Deerrun. Quote: “Has anyone looked up propery records for the Daybell house? I am looking for the actual owners of the home? ETA I changed my original post because I dont want to say anything that is not confirmed. I am searching and will continue too.”

Property records of the home were posted. They are in the name of: Chad Daybell and Tamara Daybell.

Edited: to include quote from @Deerrun

I love your use of "and associates, if any"... there's no doubt we all are wondering about this possibility.

Also, I'm wondering if COD cannot be determine for either JJ or Tylee... how will this possibly impact additional charges against both C & L.

Manner of death can be determined without cause of death. However, without cause of death, there usually might be an issue of what level of murder charges to be filed. Imo this would not apply in this case as the murder of children is an aggravating factor that will almost guarantee felony murder charges that could qualify for the death penalty. I am not a lawyer so I welcome others to correct me.

Just a quick question. When Tammy died, how was her death reported? Was there a panicked 911 call? Do we know any details other than 'she died in her sleep'?

  • #186
I wonder who told Lori about the search. Was it her attorney or Chad?

Just a guess, but I would assume the attorney. I don't believe CD would be able to just
sit in his car and just call LVD or text her at will. I would assume there would be jail protocol for contact with a prisoner.

It's been reported that Chad's adult kids didn't move in until after Tammy died. HIs other son moved back home after his mission ended this year. So it might have just been he and Tammy when she died.

At the time when TD died there was one son living at home with TD and CD. The oldest of the children.

She was likely at the second site by the pond.... I'll repost my pic's from yesterday.

She may have been dismembered in some way though, b/c of the 'egregious' condition of one, and the fact she took longer to positively ID.
Awful!!

In the last photo it looks like there is a paper (building permit possibly?) taped to one of the poles. I wonder if someone involved in the new mobile home plans smelled something while out there working. Building inspector? Electrician? MOO

I’m wondering if there was information about the going on at the home in any of Tammy’s journals or any computers or devises that pointed to the places where the kids were buried. Did Tammy write about Chad’s odd behavior digging holes and bonfires? By this, was LE tipped off when they went through what was collected from the home in January but had to wait until the weather got warmer to sure the areas on the property that Tammy mentioned?
What a kick in the pants that would be. The big tip came from Chad’s wife.

i don't believe anything he says. The frontierville thing is just a typical husband powerplay. And as I've now said a couple of times, I believe his whole near death experiences are total fiction. He published Suzanne Freeman's NDE book in 2004 or 5, and NEVER mentioned to her that he had NDEs... no f* way.... He has always been a fake.

I am totally open to the possibility that he has been conflating fiction and reality for a very long time.

It looks like a similar document is taped to the tree by the second burial site (by the pond). I wonder if they are evidence markers of some sort for when they are taking pictures to document the scene? That was a good catch. MOO

...would not be lying unattended like this so long after discovery. ...

Snipped by me.

It doesn't look to me like it's unattended. It's on the tarp where they've been doing something with dirt and buckets, and there are two or three people at the corner of the tarp, plus what looks like an evidence desk a few feet away.

There's a bucket right beside it. It looks to me like they might have been in the process of removing dirt from inside the object to carry over to the sifter on the other side of the hole.

We also don't know how long it was there. It might be waiting for a photographer, a specialized examination, a larger evidence bag.

That said, I doubt very much that there are actual remains in it, whatever it is. It looks more like the people at the hole have just located remains, and everyone has turned to look, in a sort of moment of silence.

Yes, MM probably went there to tell her.

One of our locals said they drove past the jail she was at while the search was going on and MM was there.

My thoughts on the timing of the search:
Apart from any other material evidence or interviews with LE of which we may not all know (including neighbor's recollection of bonfires), we have the State of Idaho. Before March, knowledge of the search location is possible considering the presence of the FBI Mobile Unit that remained behind RPD for what seemed an eternity. However, Idaho ground was frozen and would have been difficult to search and sift through with chunks of ice and frozen dirt on scene. Second, we have COVID-19. We've seen the LEOs and Idaho justice system follow protocol set by the State in all aspects of the other aspects of this case. According to Stages of Reopening, Idaho Governor allowed Stage Three on May 30 which included the allowance of gatherings of people 10-50. There were around 50 people on site these last two days. The State could not conduct a search before May 30 according to its own legal statement. I'm sure if life were in danger exceptions could be argued, but it appears to me that knowledge of the location was known for months. Bravo to LE/FBI for keeping that tight-lipped for so long waiting this out, especially with the public outcry and repeated delays in the ongoing criminal case.

As for the timing of the search, perhaps they chose this day because the major news stations was covering the funeral of George Floyd in his hometown of Houston?

LE seemed confident about what they were there for and the time/date they did it could have provided the least amount of coverage in consideration for the children’s surviving family members.

Just maybe?

Yeah, it was a live feed from the news helicopter. I was one of the ones who saw it and it was...a traumatizing experience. I still don't watch live overhead coverage of something like this. Looking at photos where I'm braced is different.

Accidents happen, mistakes are made. What I've read, I don't know how reliably, is that the officers in that case were so shocked about what had been found that they kind of lost track of what they were supposed to be doing for a few minutes.

ITA. I wasn't trying to blame or suggest blame then nor now (which was not clear in my post)

I have been thinking the same thing! If it was where the photographer is, how did they move it so far from the site where the photographer is and it still retained the same shape. I can’t think of any fabric that would do that. It definitely looks like fabric. I go back and forth on coincidence or not.
Couldn't the blue tarp have been positioned right next to the finding. They could have gingerly lifted the orange fabric onto the blue tarp (and the layer of dirt you see next to it) and moved the blue tarp over to the edge. I still think they are all looking at something "in" the hole they are photographing.

BIG question for me as well.... WHERE were each killed. We should eventually learn what LE knows about Yellowstone.. the report yesterday of "egregious conditions of one of the bodies" just makes me even sicker...
The thing about Yellowstone is......
Yes, it's vast and there are many remote areas. But there are also millions of tourists. EVERYWHERE. It's also a land of a billion photos. Last time I was there (late October), bus loads of Chinese tourists were pulling up as if from nowhere, geysers and mud pools all around. They'd all clamber out, stand at the foot of the bus steps and snap photos with long lenses. They didn't even step more than a few feet from the bus! Not even onto the boardwalk or to peer over the rail. I was quite shocked: evidently the prize was a "been there, done that" photo and not the experience. At any rate, yep, billions of photos out there via long lenses.
If you're having to remove a body, you'd certainly be in a place where someone could see you. You'd be parked at a busy pullover. And we might be talking about as much as 140 lbs of dead weight body. Otherwise, you'd have to dismember the body in order to lift.... I'm creeping myself out.
Backcountry assault and burial? No way CD and LV are heading into the woods with grizzlies and wolves: they're totally NOT the type! Doubt they'd even set foot on a woodland trail. Their thing is evidently lalalala on a Hawaii beach in the sunset holding hands...
I could totally see them buying and taking a silver and orange space blanket to Yellowstone just in case, though...
BTW, I've never seen a grizzly or a wolf at Yellowstone, but I'm quite convinced the mere thought would deter LV and CD.
