Chad Daybell's son is speaking out - two days after the 'doomsday author' was arrested for concealing the remains of his step-children in his backyard.

On Thursday, his son Garth Daybell was seen moving items out of the home, before giving a video interview in which he revealed his shock at his father's arrest.

'I'd say it happens, but it doesn't,' Garth told videographer Tyson Draper.

'Keep supporting us, we appreciate your love and support... We feel your prayers,' he added.

True confession---> when I was a young teen, I was obsesses with the holocaust and what happened the the Jews, especially children. I kept reading books and books. My mother was "worried about me".. she couldn't figure out where all this was coming from. I somehow brought myself to believe I had lived a former life as a little daughter of a German pilot who killed Jews, and this was my atonement.

On the other hand, my DNA testing through Ancestry does say I am 8 steps away from Henry the 8th.. so that's somethin.

Finally caught up!! I was shocked to hear where the bodies were found, yet relieved they were for closure for the families. And if anything based on location no chance for blaming others. I have had to catch up in between life so much scroll and roll but I have been thinking about transportation of the children after they died to Chads acreage. Help me remember what vehicles LE currently has impounded/taken for evidence. If I recall correctly Tylees Jeep, Alex’s truck?, and most recently Chads SUV?

I believe there would have been an awful aroma if a body had been stored in a crawl space. Also, cadaver dogs would have picked it up; heck, a stuffed up human nose would have picked it up.
That gives me an awful idea.... Did LV try to sell JJ's dog AFTER Tylee went missing? The dog might have got into something he wasn't supposed to.

Someone posted a picture of an average size chest freezer that was located within the house. There was carpet under the freezer. The image was from when the house was on the market in 2015.
Lots of people have freezers. We used to have one.

IMO the catalyst was JJ and the motive was simply money and revenge.
I think that Lori became extremely resentful of caring for JJ and the resentment changed her feelings for Tylee too. And she was very unhappy about having to leave HI. When Tylee started receiving benefits in AZ in 2016, Lori felt she was entitled to the $, but as Tylee got older maybe she began demanding the money. Lori was furious about not getting Charles’ insurance $, and because Tylee was JJ’s protector she was aligned against Lori (in Lori’s eyes). IMO Lori wanted to make Kay suffer so badly she would stop at nothing.
Chad believed he was superior even to his own family, and he seemed to have an increasing need for others to think him special (a prophet) but he had no money to influence people. When they met, they saw in each other a way to get what they wanted and they glossed it over with religion which allowed them to still feel superior while doing terrible things.
If this seems too obvious, consider that they are both also incredibly stupid. For example, I’m convinced that they thought they were outside US jurisdiction when they went to Hawaii.

This, 100%! I think it’s very simple and I also think Lori felt even better about it because she came to believe they were zombies, and she was doing the best thing for them. Helping them, almost, and that they weren’t really her kids anymore. And MP knew about it 100% because everything in IP’s document was waaay too detailed for them not to know, IMO.

His first utterance of Tammy dying probably coincided with the first time he met Lori, or started to think of a long term relationship with Lori. Or maybe even someone else? Dreaming at first, but it escalated to reality when he realized/knew Lori could be agreeable to a relationship.
Pinpointing that time would be helpful, but not conclusive. Emails, book signings, Lori purchasing, attending, following Chad podcasts, all need to be pinpointed, if possible. The digital trail will assist in their demise.

BBM. According to Julie Rowe his visions about Tammy dying started much earlier. He was discussing them with Julie and she claims she had the same visions even before that. Chad might have been grooming Julie (and maybe other women) before Lori.

I've excluded events which don't have much relevance to the locations of the key players. I've also made assumptions it is Alex at the storage unit when his pick up was used.

Thu 31st – pm: MB and Alex fly from ID to Mesa AZ. MB hires a U-Haul from Gilbert AZ Self Storage.

Fri 1st – A Gilbert PD investigating BB’s shooting begins surveilling Lori.

There is an aerial photo "out there" that shows clearly how the green grass (more nitrogen probably) growing around the main dig area. Do you have that one, or see it. I think it was a local Rexburg drone seen on SM so cannot post. But since you have such a handle on all these aerials, is there a way you can get it into the media thread..since its' media.

If Tylee was killed at a remote location, why didn't they leave/bury/conceal her in the vicinity? Taking a body closer to home would increase the risk of getting caught. Also dismemberment is very messy. There was no need for it if they were already at a place unconnected to them. IMO it's possible that both children were drugged at Lori's appartment.

I believe having the bodies buried in Chad's back yard (which leads to a very high chance of a murder conviction if they are discovered and therefore is extremely high risk) shows a very strong need to keep control over the bodies. I think that explains why Tylee wasn't just left in the forest somewhere, because they would never know if someone would happen to find her remains in the future. I do expect that Chad thought he could construct something like a concrete base for a building or mobile home over the top of the children's remains one day, once he was comfortable the attention had moved away from him.

I think it's possible JJ was killed in the townhouse but I think Tylee would have been killed elsewhere. Mainly for the following reasons -

1. they took a trip out to Yellowstone, and Alex doesn't strike me as a hiker. I'm not suggesting she was killed in Yellowstone Park but somewhere remote on a convoluted journey home, and that was the purpose of the trip. I think it's possible Tylee was tricked into leaving the vehicle (maybe he said there were engine problems or needed to stop to see something like wildlife) JJ was drugged and sleeping at the time, carried in to bed when they got back, and given a story about Tylee going to stay at college and he would see her soon. I wouldn't be surprised to find out she was shot. If her body was dismembered I think it would be to conceal her in something, and for ease of carrying her, and Lori may have driven home with JJ and left Alex somewhere with Tylee's body, going back to get him the following day.

2. I think murdering Tylee in the house would have been a noise risk with neighbors and JJ, especially if Tylee saw it coming and struggled or JJ wandered in and discovered either the murder taking place or her dead body in the hours afterwards. I think Lori was especially vigilant of JJ when Charles was shot and that's why she waited until JJ was put in the car and had Tylee lined up to go and stop him returning to the house. I also think it risked leaving evidence there of a struggle or disturbance, like broken items.

3. I think Tylee was possibly dismembered and there wouldn't be much purpose to killing in one place and moving to another place to do that. Too much chance of getting caught with a whole body on the journey and contaminating the house and vehicle. It makes more sense to me that if one of the bodies was cut up (as I think is probable) it would be Tylee's because moving her and concealing her would be more difficult than JJ given his size and weight.

4. I think a crime scene at the house would have resulted in charges of murder and not desertion. I don't necessarily think the same would apply if JJ was killed there because firstly Tylee was already eliminated as a witness, and secondly he is not likely to have been able to put up much of a struggle against adults, especially if he was drugged, and I expect they used a means which would not cause bleeding and he could be quickly moved, leaving few traces that couldn't be cleaned up.

Perhaps he's dead too.
Wonder if there were any other mysterious deaths in that area over the past 6 months. And again, since Lori and Alex were so new to that area, any possible accomplices would have had to been set up by Chad....
