I am new to this case and have been looking without success for answers to the following questions:

1) Who murdered the children?
2) How were the children murdered?
3) Why were the children murdered?

Can anyone who has been following this case hazard an educated guess or theory? Thank you!

Again, he was in his fifties, never married as far as I can tell (until his marriage to ZP that lasted about two weeks), no kids. I'd say that's very unusual for a Mormon male.
Alex was engaged in his early years. Hs former fiancé posted on social media. They dated for quite a while. She didn't like Lori.

One other thing to consider: we don’t yet know how much electronic evidence LE has built up from all of the computers and phones they’ve confiscated over the past months.

If these two were dumb enough to buy rings from Charles’ amazon account, they probably took no precautions in communicating, google searches, etc.

I'm trying to find a better photo or two. But what is the mini football goal looking thing? Is that new? Old?

It's on the far right hand side. My photo editor updated and I cant find a draw option.

I'm sorry but you are IMO reading a whole lot into some articles that are merely saying that perhaps COVID was here as early as January 2020. There is absolutely no reason to believe (and many reasons NOT to believe) that COVID-19 was in Rexburg, ID in October 2019. And this case doesn't give us any new reason to believe that. JMOO
It was definitely in the US on 21January according to WHO. It certainly could have been here earlier.

Respectfully snipped for focus, not my bold.
I hadn't notice the bolded before. What does that even mean? CD buried the bodies not when they died, but when they were going to become evidence in a court case? That means, presumably, he could have moved them to a new burial spot recently.
Does that mean there was an original spot at another location? Off-site? Under the tree?
IMO it means that he either buried them himself or helped someone else, all in the knowledge that he was concealing evidence.

You know guys, this case won't go to court for years, but can you imagine the lengths to which the defense will go to keep his crazy books and followers outside of court? Will the defense be able to do that? I don't see how those things aren't relevant.

Mysterious death, no autopsy means endless speculation. Coroner Brenda Dye, I think she is an EMT, that should have been enough training to know to send an unexplained death to an ME.

The folks in the CD-LV orbit were actively traveling to early COVID hotspots, too. CA has been reporting community spread in January.

If it is what I saw on the photos from the search there is what looks like a white gate but it is standing on it's own and not part of a fence. Like a gate is up but fence is incomplete maybe.

It's awfully close to the burial spot IMO

I think it effects people differently. I agree with why she might want the house. It was probably the last place she has good memories of both her parents. Last place her mum was. The last Christmas. The last birthday.

But the financial theory is also completely plausable. As is CD thinking it will stop searches happening.

We know that atleast one child has been against CD selling up. So prehaps this is ED.

On the murdered bit. So where I live is mainly old houses. We are talking hundreds of years old. 300 400 500 600 years old. No wood around here. You are more likely to live in a home where a person was murdered or something just as bad than not with all that history. Some are haunted. Its just normal. Doesn't mean some people won't pay a huge amount for a brand new house because the idea creeps them out. Nor others who specifically look for home where horrible things have happened recently because its a cheaper property price. It's just different people tolerance levels for different things.

I could live in a house where dead people were buried in the yard 300 years ago. But not into the house where my dad's wife's children were murdered last fall and left to rest in the backyard. They moved into that house the day after the children were exhumed and their dad was arrested for hiding the evidence and doing something horrific to one of the children's bodies.

Interesting, maybe an expert can weigh about whether the virus will leave evidence in this case. There is no blood but some tissue evidence may remain.

Maybe it just means that if remains weren't hidden, people would have been charged with a felony (murder) right then and there?
I think so jjenny, and if memory serves, a WS legal eagle confirmed this earlier.

His books aren't a problem. Most are doomsday novels where anything goes. One is an autobiography. No cult doctrines/manifestos in them. His readers have no idea about his true beliefs. Meanwhile his inner circle is in damage control mode already. Lori's niece claims that she's just regular LDS.

JMO, CD helped AC to conceal the first body, knowing that that body was evidence of a felony having been committed, i.e. to protect the person that was responsible for the death. This could have happened as soon as the very next day.

It makes no sense to me at all that TD dies from Covid19 in October. It’s not really something that you suddenly start coughing from before bed and then die in your sleep. It’s not sudden onset death. She would have had symptoms of being sick. Also, if she died from it, rather than being murdered by CD, it stands to reason her whole household and basically a lot of people she was in contact would have also gotten sick with it. It’s highly contagious and no precautions were being taken at the time. At all.
When I went to the ER it was like something out of a movie. Multiple pairs of gloves on the medical staff, face masks AND shields, one of the nurses tried to examine my throat from 6ft away with a flashlight lol... and the tech drew blood from my hand rather than my arm so she could be distanced.
My point is it’s no joke, super contagious, and I think she would have been quite sick first if it were bad enough to kill her. And it def would have spread to her family and community, and on and on. jmo

ETA it was CD! Lol jmo
