Boise Police looking for missing woman

Police are asking for the public's help finding a 37-year-old Boise woman who has been missing nearly a week.

The woman, identified by police only as "Melissa," was last seen Saturday evening walking in the Columbia Village subdivision near Trailwinds Elementary and Les Bois Junior High.

Have you seen this Boise woman, missing since Saturday?

Boise police officers are looking for any information which may lead to the whereabouts of 37-year-old Melissa Mariscal, who hasn’t been seen or heard from since Saturday evening, Oct. 1.
She was last seen walking in Columbia Village near Trailwinds Elementary and Les Bois Junior High, police said.
She is listed on the Idaho Missing Persons database as Melissa Amber Mariscal.

I ride by this canal every single morning on my bike, and cross over it near the streets mentioned.I surely hope foul play was not involved. Whatever the cause, how sad. RIP Melissa Mariscal.

I am anxious to learn more details. She looked very happy with her husband and 2 kids in that photo. Such a shame, she was so young, what a tragedy. I can't imagine how she ended up in the canal though.
