BOUNDARY COUNTY, Idaho - The Boundary County Sheriff's Office is searching for a 17-year-old who went missing from Northwest Academy in Boundary County on Monday.

Owen Finsthwait's mother, who called KXLY 4 News from her home in Massachusetts, says she believes her son ran away and may be in Washington.

Sarah Finsthwait says her son suffers from mental health issues and is a danger to himself.
The academy has confirmed that Owen is missing.
