POCATELLO — A young Pocatello woman has been reported missing.

Rebecca Jean Nelson, age 23, was last seen on Wednesday of last week.

Pocatello police said Nelson was reported missing on Thursday and her whereabouts remain unknown.

Nelson's described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Nelson has a tattoo on her left hip and a tattoo on her left finger.

Authorities have not yet released further information on Nelson's disappearance.

Pocatello police on Monday evening reported that Rebecca Jean Nelson contacted them and told them she is OK. Nelson is no longer considered to be missing.
