:(...

If I knew how to make tears on the screen, they would be there.
Children should never die.
My heart goes out to Robert and his family now.
I'm so sorry for their loss.

Well with the stolen suburban on July 22nd that had Roberts scent in it or on it and what they have already found at the apartment, I am betting Robert was hurt or killed on the July 22nd , that is what I was wondering after they searched that man's yard. I would assume the body had been weighted down as they were talking about the grates in the canal. Bodies will float first , and then with time sink. I am just so sorry..

I am SERIOUSLY DONE with NG and JVM!

3rd runthru on MJ video!! Lord love a duck???? that's a way to swear without using dirty words!!!!!!

  • #565
What's sad is MJ would probably want the coverage on the missing child instead of himself. MOO

Methinks you're right! I've still got NG on - *only to see how long it takes for them to report on Robert (it's the *principle of the thing *now!) - and then I'm writing 'em! (not that it will do any good - but *I'll feel better!)

No other children are missing in the area. IMO it does not look good.

Actually, there is another missing Boise child. Approximately the same height and weight. But Max-Gian has been missing for about 8 months, and is thought to be out of the area. *I'm NOT saying or hinting or thinking that this may be Max-Gian...just pointing out that there is another missing child from Boise.

Well, Last I heard on ktvb.com was that they were still awaiting coroners report verifying the identity of the body of the juvenille boy that was found. Seeing as there are no other missing children reports or ones that are boys, would indicate it is him. I too wonder about them throwing him in the canal alive ...or unconscience, he would drown, especially if he was bleeding severly from the head or throat or god knows where. Sick...very sick. An eight year old boy? How horrific to be killed by the hands of a parent or someone like a parent, someone you're supposed to trust with your life.
That canal has got a very fast current...gruesome.
I also wondered about anyone confirming a "last seen" time...on Robert but you know I don't think they ever really gave one. There was the mention like someone said earlier about the boyfriends dad "thinking he saw a kid that looked like Robert" but wearing a white shirt, but they never said where? It stated" down there" well what's that mean?? Down where?

That kid could have been dead a day or two before they ever called him in and it took them that long to "CLEAN" it up?...
That would explain all the crap they took out of the apartment.
The mention of terrible fate and all that would make sense. Ripping up carpet pad, taking cabinets out?
I would hate to think someone could do that but I know there are animals out there that turn into something straight from hell and are capable of that and so much worse.

I've got my tv on ktvb 24/7...it's their 24 hr news channel...nothing but news and commercials waiting for the word. They better make sure Roberts killer/s are prosecuted to the full extent of the law this time. Probably trying to dry up , and hoping his body wasn't found. I can't imagine losing a child. I have two girls ages 13 and a baby who is 13 months today. They are my world.

UPDATE: New Manwill Press Conference Set For 6:15
August 3, 2009
Updated 17 minutes ago
<snipped>
Boise Police Department has scheduled a media conference for 6:15 p.m. to give updated information about the search for 8-year-old Robert Manwill, who has been missing since July 24.

"Obviously, the question is, 'Is this Robert?'" Ada County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Andrea Dearden said.
The Ada County coroner will identify the body and determine the cause of death. Officials from the coroner's office transported the body from the scene.

A spokeswoman from the coroner's office said officials would release any information they had by 5 p.m., but said she anticipated information about the body would not be released until Tuesday. Boise Police spokeswoman Lynn Hightower indicated police would not have any updates until after the coroner positively identifies the body.

Neither the sheriff's office nor the Boise police have missing child reports other than Manwill's.

Or I heard wrong.

Nope, I think it was me, sorry! I went and edited my earlier post.

Like you said, no matter who it was that pulled him out has got to feel horrible.

I'm so over NG and JVM

  • #571
I thought the Sheriff said there were no other missing children in the area. My bad.

Well it's not because her show didn't know. i just checked my facebook and the NG update was about the body being found. SO WHEN are they going to talk about it on her show? tomorrow?????

Good idea! This is breaking news today in Robert's case ~ and even if it turns out not to be him found today, it's another child's body!

Wow, those canals are bigger than I thought.

I suppose it's possible that maybe they aren't doing the breaking type news coverage on this because LE have asked them not to, if the family hasn't had confirmation yet.

Wouldn't LE know about this other child?????

  • #576
I so agree with you Panthera!! It's a child's body. And how many times are they going to play this video!!! Get a clue

  • #577
Since there was nothing new to report, perhaps NG is waiting until there is more to the story?

I believe LE would be able to tell if it were Robert or Max-Gian due to the state of decomposition. Big difference between almost 8 months and 2 weeks. :( MOO

I really thought they'd have ID'd him by now. Even just by dental records or something. So sad, I can't imagine the agony for his poor dad. It's so hard to lose one child, but to have to go through it twice in a lifetime is so much to bear.

I agree, there is no greater pain, but to have to bear it twice... - I cannot begin to imagine. I'm sending endless prayers of support, strength and faith.........

JVM said just before her show went off that there would be a presser in about 20 minutes.
Then Nancy's show hasn't made mention of it. JEEZ.
Thank goodness for you guys, I was able to watch online.
