Lewiston Police make another plea to help find missing person
[...]
Nichols was reported missing to LPD on September 29th, 2020 after he failed to show up to a job site on the 28th and has been unable to be reached by family.
He was last seen on September 25th, 2020 checking out of a hotel in Lewiston, officials said. His cell phone was last used at this same location.
The same day, he used a company credit card to put fuel in his work vehicle, a white 1999 Chevrolet Suburban bearing Idaho license plate 6C52533. The vehicle has cargo doors in the back and should contain a large survey box.
The investigation has confirmed that Nichols left the Seaport building and south parking lot of the Red Lion Hotel in Lewiston on September 25, 2020, at approximately 8:24 AM.
Investigators have obtained statements indicating Nichols was going to be headed back to his residence in Saint Maries, Idaho on September 25, 2020. It is believed that Nichols used a company gas card at the Liberty Mart located at 226 W. 22nd Street N., on September 25, 2020, at 11:04 AM.
Nichols is known to sometimes camp in a tent or in his work vehicle, though it is out of character for him to fail to contact family or report in to a job site.
