If George and Cindy truly believed in a Kidnapping, What are the Details??

Sometimes PIs have their own personal agenda... it's all about making money, for some. Where family members of the missing have to be on guard against psychic predators, they also have to vigilant against getting caught up in the world of using people that bill their selves as PIs. I could easily see the A's falling for a questionable PI that has the agenda of feeding their false hopes, while pocketing as much money from the As as they can. Mind you, not every PI is like this... but bottom dweller PIs do exist.
Well, someone is serving her false hope 'cause according to Cindy, Caylee should have been found 2 days ago. Sad.

Well, if Casey is risking her life to protect her daughter, she does deserve the "Mother of the Year" award. Maybe they'll present it to her on the day of her execution...

I think they should give her an Oscar- for faking her way through the past three years pretending to be a loving, caring mom.

I think the whole family should get oscars for portraying that they are just the typical family next door. They pulled that off for how many years-it's just now that the spotlight is on them that it all comes to light. That is what is making Cindy so desperate. It is more important to keep up the charade than find Caylee. Kinda makes you look at some of your neighbors alittle differently now doesn't it!

she's stealing from me!
she's a nutjob!
I haven't seen my grandaughter in like... a MONTH, people!
It smells like a flippen dead body in that trunk and like... I should KNOW dead bodies 'cause I'm a nurse!

<pause> - gulp kool-aid

My daughter would never hurt anyone!
She should win mother of the year cause she loves that darned baby and I have a
few photos to prove it!
I believe my daughter!
I think that rotten pizza is to blame... or maybe a squirrel 'cause squirrels and dead
humans smell a heck of a lot alike... I should know 'cause I'm a NURSE!
OR... maybe someone PLANTED a dead body cause they KNEW Caylee was like...
missing and they wanted to frame my daughter because they wanted to take Caylee from Casey...

George... what do YOU think?
-- I'm watching the people that have Caylee.

ahh... um... I didn't get my packet of kool-aid in the mail yet. And did you know that kool-aid used to be called "Fruit Smack?" And heroin is also known as smack. Which is what I'd likely need to be using to believe this house of wackadoodle people.

I think they should give her the cell next to Casey's ..

I don't think that they do believe it was a kidnapping. They can not live with the fact that their daughter would do anything to harm Caylee so they will stick with the kidnapping story. When this case goes to trial, that is when reality will sink in.

  • #187
I don't believe any thing will convince them she is dead, nothing! Unless they find a body, and I mean one that THEY can identify, they will never believe CA did this. I posted before that when people have closed coffins, it is hard to believe the person is gone. You want to believe some one else died, and they made a mistake. Funerals are for the living, and the A's won't get one with Caylee. How could you wrap your mind around this? I can't, and it's not my daughter. Just sit and think about the steps and the details of this whole crime. You have to be sick! JMO

It does. I look around the neighborhood now for the "perfect" family and wonder what skeletons they are hiding. :waitasec:

I agree to a point, but a Lifetime Achievement Award might be more fitting. Her behaviors didn't start 3 years ago.

The Anthonys have a private investigator looking into tips that continue to come in.

"Exact spot? We're getting close," Cindy Anthony said. "We feel we're on the right track. We believe -- and we have from Day 1 -- that Caylee has not stayed in the same place for very long. We believe that she's been moved several times."

"In my gut, she's still okay... It still feels like she's, she's close to home. That's still my best feeling at the moment." "Dad, she's close, she's close..." CA's reference to being "moved alot" makes you wonder if there isn't perhaps some truth to this...

Cindy Anthony said the Orange County Sheriff's Office has spent more time building a case against Casey Anthony than looking for Caylee.

"I feel like we've lost four months of precious time (to) follow up on looking for her alive," Cindy Anthony said. "I'm angry, and for them to pull that and this is all they've got. This is ridiculous."

I will search every cottage, every cage, until I find her? Clearly CA has learned the best defense is a good offense. It's like JB's motion for State to "turn over everything they know about the search for Caylee and her whereabouts" when everyone knows his CLIENT is the only one with that information...

"There's a lot more to this story than you guys could ever imagine, and it's all going to come out," George Anthony said.

P-leeez. If, when KC is found guilty, they have withheld any credible info (which is highly doubtful) or anything of evidentiary value, they should be CHARGED.

"There's only one reason why my daughter would keep her mouth shut and why she would sacrifice going to prison the rest of her life -- to protect this child," Cindy Anthony said.

There is only one reason CA why your daughter would keep her mouth shut or would accept prison the rest of her life --and that's to protect herself from the DP while she avoids admitting to YOU CA that all your prophecies about her unfit parenting have been fulfilled. And she will continue doing so as long as you keep going along with the charade. Pass the koolaid please... aarrrgghhh... JMO

I don't think Cindy trusts the police at this point. Despite the fact she's given free reign to speak her mind and keep Caylee's case out there at the forefront with a level of coverage most grandparents of missing children would give their left arm for, she continues to insist on some sort of massive conspiracy where the world is framing Casey for Caylee's disappearance. In her mind, LE and the media are not cooperating with her wishes to direct this investigation from the comfort of her home so why should she bother with these yahoos? My thoughts only.

Well said I can see it now Cindy the control freak sitting at home directing the whole investigation from her bed.... Le,FBI, Media all at her beckon call..she would be in her glory and for sure she would solve the case...

I recently re-read the transcripts from the first jail call Casey made to her family to get her boyfriend's phone number after being arrested. In it, Cindy tells her that she wouldn't be jail if she hadn't "lied, sweetheart." I found that part of the exchange so weird...I'm sure you can see why given what Cindy has said in public and to investigators. She knew Casey lied -- and at that particular point in time, appears to have thought Casey was merely keeping Casey from her and that was all. It is true, IMO and observation, that family is more concerned with appearances than truth. I also find it contradictory of Cindy to believe what she's admitted to people openly as Casey's lying and stealing nature to not consider seriously the evidence LE has collected and now presented to get an indictment against Casey. And the main question Cindy should (but won't) ask herself is why would LE only want to pin this on her daughter? What motivation would they have if they could find a little girl safe and alive? The answer is so simple and so clear that Cindy, who has enabled Casey to never take responsibility for her actions and heard all sorts of outlandish tales from her, can't see or doesn't want to understand reality from someone else.

I find it compelling that the brother appears to be invisible now, and I have to take his statements to Casey during that same call about not letting Casey lead him down the garden path like she has their mother important. The guy gave Casey the benefit of the doubt, and did his part to try to help confirm what she'd told everyone. I have long observed that he needed to have the guts to sit his parents down and have the "I'm your son and here's what this all points to" chat with them: perhaps he did and now things are fractured specifically between him and his mother as a result and that's why we don't see him.

2 women in this family are an issue, IMO, especially their dysfunctional realationship with each other. 1 is in jail and needs to stay there, and the other needs to be in therapy.

The truly ironic thing in all this is that Casey's family in trying to protect her are the ones who are sealing her fate.

It's very possible Casey could have beaten the whole rap IF her family hadn't chosen to shield her instead of taking REAL measures to save/find Caylee.

If Casey is the Titanic, her parents are the iceberg.

*Glub glub Casey*

They know what happened, at least in general terms.

They are playing a distract and delay game. Pointing, here, there, and over there, in an effort to stall justice. MOO

They know Caylee is lost. All they are thinking about, now, is how to get KC through this, unscathed.

What has NOT occurred to them, IMHO, is that if they WERE successful, and they DID get KC off-- what about the NEXT time she gets pregnant?

  • #195
Bold mine. I can understand the self protection here in what the A's are choosing to believe, but to me, it seems cruel if the are getting false hope from their own PI's.
MOO
Of course they are getting false hope, the longer they string out this charade, the more money they make. Everything in life boils down to money. Mind you, that's all this is, a pathetic coverup/charade to sheild their murderous daughter, since they feel guilty about raising such a sociopath. Wonder what the PI's report was about the car trunk was?

Casey should be sterilized, plenty of jailguards, who could be susceptible to her, better yet just execute her!

ANYONE would obviously pick the first option for what they would rather believe. I think the question should be, what would you believe in the face of all the evidence against your daughter.

Personally, it would be the most devastating thing ever, but I couldn't deny the evidence that so overwhelmingly pointed to my daughter's guilt. There's just too much in this case to be able to pretend it's not there.

Ahhh... but see, there's the rub! The 'evidence' is not 100%, it does not say that it is conclusive that Caylee was dead in that trunk, according to many defense experts! When Baez and his team tell them the evidence is weak... who do you think they are going to believe?? When their PI's tell them that they are close to finding a LIVE Caylee, who do you think they're going to believe?? When Casey refuses to admit that she KNOWS where Caylee is, and refuses to accept responsibility, who do you think they're going to believe?? I think the answer is obvious.
To believe otherwise means that they have to admit to the world that their daughter killed their granddaughter. They simply cannot accept that. Not publicly, anyway. They MAY know in their hearts that Caylee is dead, that there is no hope of bringing her home alive, that Casey is going to prison for murder and will likely be there for the rest of her life... but to the public they have to maintain their hopes and continue to support their daughter.
Would we, as rational people do that? Hard to say, unless one is faced with this situation. I might THINK I could... but I don't really know.
When you get right down to it... what they are doing is prolonging their agony... the time will come when they have no choice but to accept it... but for now... they are holding on to every shred of hope they can, because that's all they have, really. Casey is lost to them, Caylee is lost to them, and even IF they know that deep down... they won't admit it to anybody now, and maybe never. Being angry with LE, with TES and Tim M., with everybody who tries to reason with them... that's the fuel that keeps them energized. Yes, it is ridiculous... yes, it is painful for US to accept.... but it is what it is!

the family has two faces. it is done on purpose because they dont want the public to know what they really know.

they have face # 1 that they show the public where everyone else is to blame for the disappearance and murder of their grandaughter.

then

they have face # 2 which is only shown when they are with each other.
they know she killed caylee, its plain as day but they keep this to themselves.

this is the only thing they THINK they can do to help save their daughter from life in prison or the death penalty

there are other choices but they choose this way...

crazy ?? not crazy but very ineffective

It's displacement, IMO. They can't confront Casey (I mean honestly, how much can they really talk to her?), Casey doesn't tell them anything, so the object of their frustration and anger is seemingly a closed door.

What would KC be protecting Caylee from? If "kidnappers" took her, we have seen in the case of the little boy in Las Vegas that getting LE involved helped find this child. If she is somewhere else, then getting the LE there involved would help bring this child home. If KC is protecting her from being molested by someone, the who would she be protecting her from? Since she didn't have a job, it would be herself, a family member or boyfriend. It is was herself, then Caylee was safe with the GP. If it was a family member, then she has had ample opportunities to tell LE and they would see that Caylee was protected. If it was her boyfriend, then would she be staying at his house after Caylee had been sent somewhere safe? It seems that CA is trying to say that she is with a stranger. At first it was a nanny that there has been no proof - phone wise, address, never seen - If someone unknown kidnapped her, then KC would have a picture and story of how an actual kidnapping took place. I don't feel sorry for the GP because they are not looking at truly finding this child. If the PI's are leading them to believe that she is somewhere, then they have had plenty of time to find her or show proof that she was actually kidnapped. The GP are leading this story along and wasting time and money which could be used to find children/adults that are actually missing.
