Blue Crab - I didn't know about the fibers found on JBR. Very interesting indeed. Thanks for the info. I am on board with the 'Burke playing sex games with JBR' theory.

Now with my 'new' info, I think this is highly possible:

Let's say JAR and a friend were exploiting JBR and B sexually. They had done this on prior occasions, thus the suitcase, book and blanket stashed downstairs. Suppose this same friend planned a "Santa" visit to JBR and Burke that night while JAR was in Atlanta. JBR and Burke go downstairs after "bed," snack on pineapple and sip tea while waiting for their friend, "Santa."

I (sorta) believed that a fifth person was in the house as there is too much evidence unaccounted for that had to have been removed somehow. Although I could believe that JR or PR removed at some point in the night, this makes sense to me, too.

IMO Incest is often a "family affair" If the oldest boy had been molesting her, he probably molested her young brother...who in turn would molest his little sister as well. PR & JR probably knew, probably wanted to keep it quiet and believed they had it under control& had dealt with it. It happens all the time so it wouldn't surprise me at all. Something went terribly wrong, and her own young brother wacked her on the head with that flashlight.

JR & PR's own guilty feelings about not seeking help or handling the incest differently lead to covering it up.
