"If they don't find her

  • #61
I posted this yesterday in the NG thread, but that text message actually says "guess who will get to spend eternity in jail"

I totally agree with everyone's observations of how inappropriate it is on so many levels, including the "what about meeeeee?!?!?!?" level. The tragedy isn't that Caylee is missing, it is how it will effect Casey.

The word that totally stood out to me yesterday though was eternity. I think that is a subconscious nod to what she has done and what her intent was. If your child was truly kidnapped you don't go to jail if they can't find her. That would actually make you a victim of a crime. The not reporting her for 31 days would result in the child endangerment charge, but that is a couple of years not eternity. Even if she killed her accidently that is not a life sentence. Premeditated, aggravated murder will get you eternity in jail. I think it is a very odd choice of words.

My thoughts exactly (in bold).... If they can't find Caylee, and KC had ABSOLUTELY (one of her favorites) nothing to do with it, she would spend eternity as a grieving mother... jail wouldn't even be a factor. If you love your child, and she/he is missing, you are hurting... unimaginable pain. You're not playing word games... you're pleading/begging for your baby back. This statement shows just how smart and witty KC thinks she is, while her words show the TRUTH, if you just remove the lies and BS. She knows exactly what happened and she truly doesn't care.

Parents of kidnapping victims don't go to jail though.
They are crime victims.
Parents who kill their kids do.
They are criminals, and only the most horrid criminals go away for eternity.

She wasn't arrested when she made that statement either. Supposedly she was out helping the cops find Zanny.

She clearly knew they would find no evidence of a kidnapper because there isn't one. If Caylee was truly kidnapped Casey wouldn't be worried about going to jail for eternity. Elizabeth Smarts parents weren't arrested. Shawn Hornbecks parents weren't arrested. The list goes on.

bolding is mine...
there are circumstances where a parent can go to jail for handing their child over to someone that could abuse, neglect or exploit said child. (count 3-agg child abuse)
if i were to walk down the road and ask someone i meet on the street to babysit my children, so that i can party, and the babysitter then kidnaps my child, that would show that I did not make an effort to protect my child from possible harm, abuse, and exploitation .
Most of us put alot of consideration into who we will trust with our children, in an effort to protect them.
I took my kids out of daycare because a teacher grabbed my daughter by the arm and left a bruise.:furious:
I dont believe that KC would have used the same good judgement since her priority was not caylee's safety and wellbeing.

I think it's a very odd choice too, but for a different reason:

I think she used the word "eternity" because her crime is so black that she's subconsciously worried about "eternity" and what will happen to her.

I have always thought that Casey had a 'bi' thing going with Annie.

All the "love" terms of endearment she constantly texted to Amy H. made me think she wanted Amy to fall in love with her too, just like JG, and the guy who had the 4th of July party (name escapes me now... she REALLY led him on)...

Did KC really post she was bi on one of her pages?

I thought her other texts to TonE where quite revealing too.
this one in particular.....
KC: 7:01am- I lied to everyone! What was I supposed to say? I trust my daughter with some psycho?
How does that look?

Why does she say 'some psycho', when she had supposedly trusted this 'nanny' completely?

My mind is going in an entirely different direction after reading the latest doc dump.

The psycho = Casey = nanny....kc considered herself the nanny and that was the "job" she went to everyday. Whenever she talked to her friends about work, in her sick head, she was referring to "babysitting" as her employment.

Interesting isn't it?..she is more worried about how SHE will look to othe people than about her child missing or killed!

LaLaw...I agree with your post about Amy. Funny that thought always crossed my mind from the very beginning.

Shouldn't the correct title for this thread be " If they never find her? " Wasn,t that her correct quote?

This was one of the reasons why I have always felt that she had a double personality.
