*Preliminary Hearing (@ 9am PT) - NV - Alysha Quate (6) (Early June, 2015, Centreville; found June 6, 2017) - *Jason Scott Quate (34), “father” arrested (6/6/17) in Las Vegas & indicted (12/15/17) on 44 counts. Police charged him with sex-trafficking of an adult, accepting and receiving the earnings of a prostitute. Counts dismissed on 12/14/17: five counts of sexual assault against a child younger than 14, 21 counts of lewdness with a child younger than 14, one count of committing open or gross lewdness with a child younger than 18, and six counts of child abuse and neglect, two alleging severe mental or bodily harm, and possessing child . Plead not guilty; no bail.
Also faces extradition to Illinois to face charges of murder & concealing a death; confessed to killing.
9/6/18 Update: Chicago DA officially charges Quate with 1st degree murder.
11/6/18 Update: Motion by Public Defender to withdraw from case-granted; Special Public Def. appointed & files motion for continuance-granted. Bail stands as is. Status check hearing on 1/29/19. 1/29/19 Update: Bail stays as is. Next Preliminary hearing on 7/10.
6/8/19 Update: Trial had been due to start Monday (6/10/19) in Las Vegas, but the date was reset for next March, 2020. Prosecutors say he’ll go before a jury first in Las Vegas. If convicted, he could face hundreds of years in prison in Nevada.
IL – 9/6/18 DA charges Quate with 1st degree murder charge in St. Clair County. $1M Bail.

Court documents say Woolheater’s 2-year-old son, Tony Bunn, died in 2018 and had injuries to his neck and head.

Woolheater will be sentenced October 4.

So I guess we have to wait for Jason Quate to get tried in Nevada and then they will send him to Illinois to face murder charges....
