*Status Hearing (@ 8:30am CT) - IL –Alysha Quate (6) (mid-June 2015, Centreville; found June 6, 2017) - *Jason Scott Quate (35/now 37) “father” indicted (8/16/17) & charged (10/5/18) with 1st degree murder & concealing a homicidal death (Class 3 felony). Plead not guilty $1M bond.
Admitted to killing Alysha & hiding her body.
*NV - Jason Scott Quate - In custody in Nevada, Clark County (#17F10214X): 3/12/20 Plead guilty. Sentencing on 7/14/20 to 28 years to life. Will be extradited to Illinois.
10/5/18 Update: DA files 1st degree murder charges in St. Claire County. $1M bail. 11/10/20 Update: Arraignment hearing on 12/4/20. 12/4/20 Update: Arraignment & preliminary order. Plead not guilty. 12/7/20: Motion to reduce/modify bond; Motion for discovery by defendant. Next status hearing on 12/17/20.

I shall be out from Wed. 3/24 thru Friday, 3/26 for surgery on my left carotid artery (this time) - so am posting this now. I'll be back home - hopefully - on Saturday.

IL - Elizabeth Odell-Quate (35) “mother” was extradited to Illinois & charged & indicted (1/27/18) on murder with concealing a death Class 3 Felony & forgery Class C Felony. Original bond $750K, reduced on 11/20/17 to $30K, out on bond.
9/18/18 Update: Plead guilty to concealing a death & forgery charges. Took plea deal, Plea of guilty of murder & also violation of probation hearing. 8/26/19: Admitted killing Alysha, plead guilty to concealing a body. Sentenced to 2 ½ years in prison. She was released on parole in May, 2020 after serving part of a 30-month sentence.
