I agree. That’s why I’m getting so angry with the “underfunded” excuse. So much money is wasted trying to help people like Cunningham & Freund! Some people are just beyond help and these two demonstrated that over and over again! The first instance of a parent not following thru on a caseworkers recommend should be cause for removal of the child. That would save a LOT of $$ and maybe save a few precious lives too.

That’s the big thing. They don’t want help, they want drugs. Any drugs. Lol, once in drug court, a guy got out of his chair, crawled on his hands & knees, reaching under a piece of furniture, retrieving a button. Yes! He spotted the button & thought it was a pill. He was gonna get it first.

I think AJ was receiving SSI, making him a hot commodity.
And if he had health issues, he recd Rx. People don’t understand, for an addict, any pill will work. Any pill is worth a try.

Yea, cuz here’s the prob, if they (anyone) can’t get a refill & end up dying, there’s big trouble.
Of course LE get these calls daily, takeca report, knowing the person sold or used the Rx.
We have some locals that have been robbed of their drugs so often, they get their Rx delivered daily, a daily dose. That’s it. On Friday they do get the required amount for weekends.
Unbelieveable LE could be fighting real crime instead of these addicts wasting their time by taking reports getting more to sell and getting our children addicted and killing them indirectly. My BIL who’s a retired ER Dr said people would dump their OD friends on the curb in front of ER door then take off. Some friends huh? This in in Orange County CA. It’s a vicious circle. What a waste of out tax payer dollars. I hate the politicians. It’s all about the money for their paychecks and pensions.

It Costs More To House A Prisoner In Illinois Than To Send Them To DePaul

The current daily inmate population in Illinois is 45,551 with an average cost per inmate of $38,268. Currently the state is paying $1.7 billion dollars to keep these offenders jailed when research shows that “when low-level non-violent offenders are incarcerated instead of given supervised release, they are more likely to commit new crimes once they are released from prison.” (The Cost of Prison Overcrowding in Illinois | John Howard Association of Illinois)
If the state of Illinois were to invest into educating and rehabilitating people instead of simply locking them up, there is a very good chance that recidivism rate would drastically decrease. In 2011, the recidivism rate was over 51% (Intelligence Report: Illinois prison recidivism rate above national average | ABC7 Chicago Archive | abc7chicago.com).

These non violent folks are the drug users /dealers and thefts.
Even with all the resources they still have a 51% return rate, including the non violent.

At some point you have to stop the bleeding, as we say in the business world. Clearly prison reform is not working out and they have a very high crime rate for the star.

They were probably very concerned about AJ starting school later this year. Although they may have had him frightened enough to know there would be dire consequences if he told anyone about what goes on at home. I wonder if AJ telling the ER Doc that maybe mommy didn’t mean to hurt him with the belt was a part of what led them to murder him.

I think he was going to receive an at home education, majoring in ‘hard knocks’, which is a shame. His grandparents were highly educated, his grave digger passed the bar, AJ probably could have been something more than a punching bag.

FYI: terse info on opioids
How do people become addicted to opioids?

Oh, I didn't think about that one. Wonder what the cost is per child.

I've worked in private business and for the government. Private business is more about return on investment, outcome and following government regulations. The government jobs were more focused on reports, funding and more programs to grow the department.

Once the feds classified addiction as a disease, things got worse. People can believe or feel what they like as to whether it is a disease. The brain becomes diseased, due to drug abuse...yes. But, in most cases the user chose to use.
I’m sorry, I’ve been hardened, seen too much & have no empathy, because help is available. Nothing in life is easy, but I’m sick of addicts destroying lives just so they can get a five minute rush. I have a real problem with JC/Sr having drugs but living in filth, little food, no utilities, etc.
their habits were only going to increase, day by day...then what?
FYI: look at Tippy’s timeline, you’ll notice around the 12-13 of several months, trouble came a knocking. That tells me the first two weeks of the month they had drugs & things were cohesive. Once the middle of the month rolled around, the LE calls started.

JC’s ex-husband gave an interview that will air tomorrow on Daily Mail TV on WGNTV-Chicago @ 3:00pm CST. The locals said that it should be aired on their livestream or can watch on the stations homepage.

How big a joke is the slide scale for methadone payment?
Lmfao
These are the same people that buy their drugs.
And suboxone is very expensive, yet Sr only paid $10. So he netted $890 on a 90 day Rx.

I thought he was dead?
Tysm for this.
Do you still have all of the pics you previously posted? If so, please save them for our new thread. Not that we need to see them again, but new members might want to.

One good thing, P & the baby will not be required to maintain a relationship with their brother’s murderers, since their crime was against a child. I am glad IL got right down to biz in juvie court first thing today, strip them of all parental rights, ASAP.

@Tippy Lynn what the chances of getting the timeline at the front of next thread?

Yes, I still have all the pictures saved.

IIRC, When JoAnn was going through a divorce with her ex husband (Summerkamp), is when she met Andrew Freund. Freund was her divorce attorney.

The father of the oldest son (AB) is dead. JC was never married to AB's father.

CS is the ex-husband and very alive.

Someone said that her oldest sons father died from an OD. Do you know if that’s true?

Ty! Can’t wait to hear his story. Maybe he will call it:
The Days of My Wife?

He’s one lucky dude to be out of her life & not involved in this catastrophic situation.
I totally forgot, she was getting a divorce, using the grave digging attorney.

Maybe we can get them on page 1. Ty

I’ve burned myself on the stove which caused blisters and and hurt badly even after soaking in cold water and ice and once you take it out starts burning like fire again.

I think mom doused him with boiling water on his face and head. Neighbor thought AJ was a mummy since wrapped in gauze but JC said he was burned from boiling water and they had been at hospital all day. How could that poor child be out trick or treating same day being burned? I’m sure he felt so much pain like being on fire. She probably gave AJ some of her opioids in order for him to go out same day. I doubt she took him to the hospital with chance of being suspected.

I agree. Except she wouldn’t have shared her stash with him. Let him suffer. IMO
