Are JC and AF permitted to talk with one another?

I would imagine if so, everything is recorded. So they can’t compare notes to decide which story they will tell.
I doubt their attorneys would allow it. I’m sure they anticipate the monsters will try to accuse each other. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again. I hope they’re not offered any pleas other than the X felonies.

I’m sending my thoughts and prayers to AJ’s grandparents and siblings. May sweet little AJ fly high with his Angel wings and have Peace and Love forever. And JMOO I hope those parents don’t ever get custody of any of their kids now or in the future. The only thing they need is the punishment jailmates can give them.
other inmates are there for the very same crimes. Personally, I’m not a proponent for inmate on onmate violence, they are there to serve their sentence & should be allowed to do so, w/o risk of assault to anyone, especially prison staff. They are the ones most at risk when violence erupts in prison. Jmo
The photo that made me feel violent tendencies is the one of the three of them on a couch. She was holding little brother, hugging on him, and poor little AJ looking so miserably out of place, beaten and bruised. His little face said it all. My heart hurts so much for him and what his little life was like.

Remember SS determined little P is a victim of abuse & neglect, (see previous articles).
The photo you mention is heart wrenching, P didn’t look remotely happy, little AJ sitting straight, probably terrified of moving a muscle.
What a family photo.

I still smh at JC attempting to get P back a few days after he was removed. Why? Even if foul play had not been suspected in AJ’s Disappearance, the condition of the ‘hell hole on Dole’ was not fit for life, imo.

Is it possible for the timeline being posted to have it's own thread? It takes up a ton of space to scroll through and is posted several times in each thread.

Thanks!

I requested the mods to post it on the first page of each new thread. Once it's posted there I won't post an updated timeline unless there is a bunch of new info or until the end of a thread.

Possible defenses to first degree murder charges in IL
  • Lack of intent, meaning you didn’t mean to kill someone
  • Lack of knowledge, meaning you didn’t know your actions would or could cause a death
  • Insanity, meaning you weren’t in your right mind at the time of the incident
  • Intoxication, meaning you were drunk or under the influence of drugs at the time of the incident and wouldn’t normally have acted in that way
  • Self-defense, meaning you were protecting yourself or someone else when the homicide occurred

If throwing each other under the bus doesn’t work, this may be the fall back mitigation.

Interesting tidbit from @Trudie link. If convicted of 1st deg murder, you must serve all of your sentence. No early release/parole.

This would be a perfect solution to keep this timeline accessible while not having repeat posts. Thanks for doing this!

BBM. Does anybody have more info on this? Is it possible that they could be found not guilty of murder if they were high? This defense should not be legal! MOO

I also wanted to mention that unless there's significant information I probably won't add more to the Timeline or to the Links and Info.

However, I will continue to update the Court Dates and outcomes from the hearings.

I’m not an atty and IMO but I think it means they can try to argue it’s 2nd degree or manslaughter. This is from a lawyers page and he’s presenting the possible “excuses” for murdering someone. It doesn’t mean a jury will but it.

If they opt for trial, I’m sure they’ll try one of theses excuses. I don’t see any jury finding them NG or reducing charges, personally. I can only think the autopsy will be so much worse, we’ve only heard the COD.
I wonder if the “I was high & didn’t know what I was doing” , might be JC’s excuse? Idk. But it is NO excuse.
Moo
I wish they would plead guilty & go directly to prison but I think in their drug hazed minds they think they did nothing wrong. Why else would they even try to get P back, last week?
What in the heck was going to happen in this household had AJ not been murdered?
After the baby arrived, I assume JC would get jail or rehab, the baby placed in a drug free home, Sr left with the boys, homeless for all practical purposes.
