Wonder what happened with the PC that JC's attorney said would happen today at 3 after custody hearing.

I wonder why this lawyer is hogging the attention from finding a missing 5 year old kid. Come on. The mom cannot care for children. Stop with the BS and let’s find Andrew. The 3 year old will have a chance at a good life if he never has to live with his mom again. And I hope this baby never have to spend even 1 day with this mom. I’m sorry mom, you are unfit as a parent so you have to live with that and far away from your children. You’ve done too much harm already.

The Father being an attorney possibly could have carried some weight in influencing the judge. Many attorneys in cahoots with judges even golf together.
This drug-addicted attorney in question is not likely playing golf with anyone.

Headed to McHenry County, where Andrew “AJ” Freund’s mother is expected to appear in court in an effort to regain custody of her other son, who was taken into DCFS custody last week after Andrew disappeared. @cbschicago

Mother of Andrew Freund, missing boy from Crystal Lake, walks away to speak with her attorney after appearing in court on traffic violation. She will be back in court later this afternoon for DCFS hearing.

Julie and Michelle from McHenry County, holding this sign outside the courthouse ahead of Andrew Freund’s mom’s DCFS court appearance regarding her other son. “We need to know where Andrew is.” They say Parker should not be in the same home as his parents.

Andrew Freund’s (missing boy from Crystal Lake) father, sitting outside courtroom ahead of DCFS hearing regarding his other son, tells me “the only comment I have is that I hope the court returns Parker to us.”

No decision reached today on DCFS hearing regarding Andrew A.J. Freund’s younger brother after DCFS placed the brother in protective custody. Hearing will pick up next week.

This is why the Dad was disbarred and went to jail he had a relationship with his client JC he was representing her in her divorce. This tells me Dad doesn’t mind breaking rules and the law.

Are you sure he was disbarred? I had read he had been suspended.*

*ETA: initially suspended, but now on probation status, thus eligible to practice. (Thnx SP)

Where are Aj's grandparents/aunts/uncles in all of this? I've not seen anything from anyone besides the two parents.

They tried fighting for him, they have the oldest grandson.
Made reports to DCSF that got flat out ignored, or covered up. Something stinks to high heaven, and it's not the grandparents.
MOO

Here we go: Documents: 2013 complaint against parents of missing Crystal Lake boy | Northwest Herald EDITED to add; I believe the child in question in these documents is an older brother who is possibly late teens, early 20's.

This transpired in 2012, before AJ was born. The mother was dropping the OLDER son off with the grandmother starting in 2012, with documentation continuing thru 2013, at which time he was removed from home and placed with the grandmother, in 2013.

I wonder if AJ was placed with the grandmother when he was removed from the home in 2013/or at birth? I think this would have alerted CPS of the home and parental situation prior to his birth?

Cunningham is an attorney and stepfather? Who is AJ's bio dad? And did Cunningham the lawyer and AJ's mom live in the reportedly nasty house?

He did answer the question. He said that AJ doesn't go to school. He would be starting school this fall.
Oh. I thought father said he talked to the assistant principal of the school and they hadn't seen children (?).

I found that the information contained in these documents is so very troubling and profoundly sad to read. I have no sympathy for the mother or father at this point as they have failed as parents and protectors and definitely show a pattern of abuse and meanness and selfishness. I do not believe for a minute that the parents really care that the child is gone, as I do not think either one of them have it within them to give a damn, such as an ability to love nor an ability to care.....for whatever "mitigating" reason.

I hope to God that the youngest child is not returned home and I pray to God that once this "woman" delivers her current pregnancy that the innocent child is taken from her and never returned. I understand drug addiction and mental health issues and coping issues as part of the contributing scenario as to why a little 5 year old is missing, but that does not mean the parents get a "pass". IMO, the innocent come first and given this case where the parents clearly cannot cope with life nor parenting the innocent should be protected...take their children away....( and bring AJ home and put him to rest.)

The more I read, or watch, about this case I am reminded of the vulnerability and innocence of little children. I do not think our society is, nor has been, great at protecting innocent vulnerable children. That is a shame and we can do better.
