Found Safe IL - Anna Dankova, 31, left at 3 AM, wearing slippers, Mount Prospect, 1 Apr 2021

The Mount Prospect Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding Anna Dankova, 31 years old, who walked away from her home in the 1900 block of Tano Lane, Mount Prospect this morning around 3:00 AM.

The closest major intersection is Camp McDonald Road and River Road (Route 45). Anna was last seen wearing a light colored dress, shawl and possibly slippers. We are concerned for her safety due to how she is dressed and the cold weather.

If anyone has any information that could help in finding Anna, please call 911. Local area police and fire departments are currently conducting searches in the area for Anna.

River Road/45 crosses to a metropark area with the DesPlains river running through it. I'm very familiar with the area. The area around the river can be swampy and the gound uneven, it's NOT a place you'd want to be walking. I'm hoping she ended up following the road north and didn't end up in the water.

K9/Drone Search and Rescue Strike Team
This morning, the
K9/Drone Search and Rescue Strike Team
was requested by
Mount Prospect Police
to assist in locating a missing person. We responded with 3 K9 teams, 2 drones, 3 chief staff, and 1 ATV. The woman had been missing approximately 8 hours by the time the SRST was requested.
K9 Thor and K9 Irie tracked to the same location about 1 mile from the home that she left from. K9 Magnus assisted those K9's in an area search, but they were unable to locate the individ…
