Woman Missing, Joliet Police Seek Help Finding Her

Joliet resident Ashley Tucker, 25, is 5-foot-3, 120 pounds. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes. Police say she has not been seen by anybody since around 11 p.m. Saturday night.

A relative also contacted Joliet Patch asking for help in spreading the news about Tucker's disappearance.

"I need your help! Our daughter is missing. We live in Joliet. She was last seen at our House Warming last night. Her roommate called and told us that her car was there and she wasn’t home. They found the jacket in the backyard with blood on it and specks all over the area where the jacket was found. It was the jacket she was wearing during the party."

Tucker has a tattoo of "CLEO" on her left wrist and "MONA" on her right wrist. She wore a green shirt, blue jeans and tan boots at the time she was last seen.

JOLIET PD ARE SEEKING INFORMATION ON MISSING PERSON - ASHLEY TUCKER

Ashley N. Tucker is 25 Years of Age. She is 5’3” tall weighing approximately 120 LBS. She currently has dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Ashley has a tattoo of “CLEO” on her left wrist and a tattoo of “MONA” on her right wrist.

Ashley was last seen wearing a green shirt, blue jeans, and tan boots.

Tucker was last seen on 10/13/18 around 2300 hours in the Joliet Area.

There are photos on her mom's FB of the party that night, but Ashley isn't in them - perhaps she was the one taking the pics? I wonder if she was intoxicated? Angry ex? The bloody coat is obviously a bad sign...

The link in the very first post in this thread stated a roommate reported her missing when her vehicle turned up at her home but not Ashley. Her jacket was then found in the backyard with blood on it. So it seems her disappearance happened from her home and NOT from the party at her parent's.

Joliet police seek man in connection with woman missing for one week

Joliet police are looking for a person of interest in the case of a missing 25-year-old woman who was last seen Oct. 13.

Peter Zabala is believed to be the last person to see Ashley Tucker before she disappeared. Some of her items were found in the area where she was last seen, police said.

Zabala has an active Will County warrant for failing to comply with the sex offender registration act.

"Seen in the company of". So this wasn't' a lying in wait type of crime or one of opportunity. Were they talking after the party? Did they leave together? So many questions. So did he murder someone before or was it an assault? Also I saw Rae Carruth was released after killing his wife who was pregnant after 17 years. Child survived but has brain damage and palsy.. not sure how these light sentences are possible..

"This is a perfect example of when everyone in the city of Joliet works together of what can be accomplished in a short period of time," Chief Alan Roechner said in a statement. "We will continue in our efforts to find the truth as to what happened to Ashley, and will not stop until we can finally bring this investigation to a successful conclusion."

Police had asked for the public’s help as they search for Tucker, who has been missing for more than a week, though they did not specify what led them to question the man in her disappearance.

Tucker was last seen on Oct. 13 around 11 p.m. in the city, where she purchased a cup of soup at a local restaurant. Her family says she was heading home from a party at her father’s house.

Tucker’s vehicle was found in her driveway, but family members say that her cell phone and keys were missing. Family members also say that her jacket, stained with blood, was found in the backyard, but police have not confirmed those details.

According to authorities, Tucker was last seen wearing a green shirt, blue jeans, and tan boots.
