Cops: Girl, 12, missing from West Side -

Police are asking for the public's help finding a 12-year-old girl who went missing Saturday on the Near West Side in the city's University Village/Little Italy neighborhood. Ashley Walton was seen on the 1300 block of 13th Street. She was wearing black, red and gray Jordan gym shoes, a green shirt and a black jacket, said police. Walton is known to frequent the city's West Side, police said.

Walton was described as a black girl, standing 5-foot-4 and weighing 120 pounds. She has brown eyes, black and golden brown hair and a medium complexion, police said.
