I guess it is possible, but the clothing doesn't match and I would assume the family could verify the rings plus the C-section birth.

  • #83
The one ring sounds like a wedding ring (plain gold band) and the description of Veronica says "boyfriend". Not counting it out though.

The bone structure looks so similar though!

She went missing May 1990, and the body was found wearing different clothes etc in 1995. Maybe Veronica ran away and ended up dead a few years later? (Just random thoughts.)

Or maybe she made it home, changed into something more comfortable (sweatpants) and then was abducted?

It is a 5 year time gap. I've heard that sometimes the timing can be off by a few years. Would 5 years be too long of a time?

I feel that this missing woman is a very good match. Forget the picture (it's from the late 80's) and look at the similarities:
http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/1063dfnv.html
Brown hair; brown eyes. Athletic lower body from ice-skating. She has a drug habit. Her teeth were discolored at the time of her disappearance.

It says that she has a tattoo but since these remains were 'skeletal' we likely wouldn't know that about the Unidentified.

I strongly believe this Jane Doe is Camille from NV. I did send this possible match in over a year ago. Don't know if they ruled her out. If I remember correctly, Camille's boy friend or ex was from Illinois, and had been abusive towards her. There is another thrread about her somewhere on websleuths. (It might be in the Sharon Marshall closed forum  . It was thought Camille might be the woman in Floyd's "mystery woman" photo, but IMO it isn't her in that photo).

Welcome Tomfriendly. :)

Did you ever try to follow up on your tip? Once in a while I send one in to the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) and when I email to inquire how it went they always provide me with details.

Maybe they lost the tip? I think it's definatly worth looking into again. Maybe if it were submitted by somebody else they'd look into it again.

emerald/or the dark grren stone in her ring could be for the birth month of May. There are two on your list with birthdays in May.

Any update on this:? I think Camille looks very possible and as Gary Dotson's ex, she does have a tie to IL.

I am bumping this up - I think Camille Dardanes is a definite possibility.

220UFIL1.jpg

why?

- Camille went missing in May 1994
- UID could have been placed in location between May and Sept 1994
- "Dardanes has an athletically built lower body due to ice skating"; "She may have had early athletic or dance training such as ballet, gymnastics or figure skating, based on the leg bone
structure";
- UID may have had one or more children; Dardanes' page mentions at least one child left behind.

Both listings also address the lack of dental hygiene. Very promising.

has anybody submitted this?

Bumping.. Does anyone know if Camille Dardanes has been submitted?http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/...s_camille.html

Also what about this girl? Age, Time frame, height, and dental work, and rings found near body could be a good comparision.

Michelle is said to have weighed 105lbs - UID was known to have a dancers build from leg structure.

Hair color is questionable I think too, and it would be great to know if Michelle has had any children/C sections.http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/b/burchell_michelle.html

I think Camille would be my first pick. I will submit if no one else has..

Carl, Do you think I should submit Michelle?

Carl, Do you think I should submit Michelle?

The thing about Michelle is that she had supererupted teeth, and you can see it in her photo.

There is no mention of that with the UID (although it said that she didn't receive regular dental care). Also, it doesn't appear to be a feature in the sculptured reconstruction.

That's not to say that she is a clear rule-out. There are other things that make it tempting, but I probably would say it's doubtful. With the very distinctive condition of supererupted teeth, you would expect some mention of it on the UID.

I just wish they were a little more discriptive on why they don't think the UID received regular dental care... was it because cavities, etc...

Hi All,

FYI: Florence, Arizona Jane Doe was identified through DNA as being
Christina Martinez, 15. Christina had been missing since May 3, 1997 from Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona. She was for years listed as a runaway. With the passage of time that was changed to Missing Endangered.

Yesterday I got word from Christina's best friend Valerie that Christina is in fact Pinal County, Arizona Jane Doe found on May 10, 1997, in the desert outside of Florence, AZ. ( I am Internet friends with Valerie And have known since Feb. that they were doing DNA tests)

For years it was believed that this Jane Doe was a girl by the name of Mary Stoddard and that her father was a chiropractor. Craig Jacobsen A.K.A. John Flowers admitting to killing her but said he did so in Las Vegas and that the victim was a runaway he met there. The police even had a ring with the letter M on it that they felt may have stood for Mary. In fact the M probably stood for Martinez.

Jacobsen buried her close to where he buried Ginger Rios, 20, a young singer and dancer in a LV. band called Salsa Machine, who he murdered in his Las Vegas Spy Craft bookstore on April 4, 1997. Here is a tid bit for you, Jacobsen owned more then one book store, you guessed it, he owned one in Phoenix as well.

If I have my facts correct, and I think I do, then there is a good chance Christina never ran away and that Jacobsen is a serial killer who has murdered young women in at least two states.

One final sad note, Christina's remains were found on May 10th. That was her birthday, she would have turned sweet sixteen the day she was found.

Yours
Peter Henderson
