Chester Palusiak has been missing since Feb. 13. He has dementia.

He was last seen near the corner of Shirley Drive and 165th Street on that date at approximately 8 p.m.

He is 6-feet tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He was wearing a black coat and blue jeans when he was reported missing.

He left from a residential neighbourhood, hopefully they can rapidly trace his steps via ring cams.

I had a great uncle with dementia under control, and one day he suddenly left his house of 20 years to go “home” and then got disoriented and lost and he was luckily found very far away still walking and saying he had to go home as mother was waiting for him and she would be upset as he was late. He was looking for his childhood house. It was very unsettling for all the family and he was clearly suffering too.
Not saying it is the case here, but this disease can unfortunately do this to the brain.

So I really hope he is safe, he is described as such a wonderful man by his community.

"One sister had to go out, and Chester and the other sister were at home, and Chester left. He had done something like this once before. but it's been a long time, so it wasn't typical for him to leave," said Cummins. "But he went out that night walking. It was snowing that night, we know that, on February 13 — and of course it turned very cold after that. He did not take his wallet."

Cummins did not have a cellphone, Palusiak said. He had his coat on, but he had nothing else with women, and nobody knew where he was going."

I think that it's supposed to say "he had nothing else with HIM and not with women.

Sadly, Mr. Palusiak was found deceased. No visible trauma and no foul play is suspected.
