CHICAGO - Chicago Police are asking for the public's help finding Joyce Berryman-Arriaga, 34, who was last contacted on Dec. 24.

What we know:
According to police, Berryman-Arriaga is 4'11", 190 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair.

She was last seen on Dec. 24. She is missing from the 1800 block of West Adams Street.

What you can do:
Anyone with information should contact Area 3 SUV at 312-744-8266 or call 911.

Well, she has a mugshot from a year prior. Hopefully she's not in any sort of bad situation.

I keep in mind that addiction is a complex disease, not a moral failing or a sign of a bad character. Affects folks from all demographics - teachers, businesspeople, those with loving families. Life is hard for some who may not have good coping tools

She has had no known interaction with local law enforcement since the 2024 action that resulted in the pictured mugshot (recirds for which can be found at the Chicagao Police Department website). https://www.chicagopolice.org/

I volunteer and do service work at several non profits in Chicago that work with women dealing with substance abuse/addiction issues (alcoholism runs in my bio family and has touched all of us). It can affect mental health and judgement, through no direct fault of the person suffering, but which can place them in harm's way.

Given the extremely cold temperatures we had since she was last seen, I can understand the concern.

That info came from the Chicago police, so it was either something in their records OR was provided by family.

If you look at her self posted photos on her Facebook page, the official missing photo looks similar to her 2021 photos when she was thinner appearing - especially in the face. The January 30, 2024 photo she posted she's fuller figured and standing next to the child, she doens't look particularly tall. Alejandro Figueroa. There aren't any personal photos since early 2024 for comparative purposes.
