Interesting. If "Mr Pat" was the same Patrick who had been missing since 2002, I wonder if he had ties to Chicago? One poor quality image that is at least a couple decades old is difficult to compare to a sketch. The medical issues might not have been known in 2002. I think it seems possible enough otherwise.

Some of the clothing might have been in the house when the owners died? Like Clark shoes or a nice long coat? I do not get the sense the neighbors were alarmed he lived in the house. The statement reads rather matter or fact and referring to someone as "Mr Pat" seems rather friendly terms. Would be interesting to know what else the neighbors know.

The only Patrick Tompkins I can find that was born around the right time is this guy, who was born in Minnesota. Its a big IF because there is no middle initial and I can't find his exact birthdate. But this guy was known to be there in 2000. So for that to work he'd have to have left his mums and gone 'home'(other side of family?) for a couple of years and then on to Chicago. But without anything like dates and specifics then I cant tell.

It might be worth searching for Patrick as a middle name, too. Some people don't like their first name and go by their middle name. My grandmother did her whole life.

Right, could be a middle name. It could also be totally unrelated to his actual given name. As in "You can call me Joe" new identity he picked up once homeless.
