What I still am trying to understand is the date the April posts were downloaded. This was days after the fire. Who posted them? Kyle? How? His phone surely was destroyed in the fire. He was taken into custody immediately following fire. Right? Any other family member have a copy off these vids stored? I think all vids before April were K’s downloads. After the fire? Questionable. I haven’t yet checked when Rosie links were posted. Important, maybe? April vids show happy family. I think? Purposely? I’ll need to review.

My first thought was that he had the phone with him the night of the fire.

He may have filmed the set-up, lighting of the fire, or the home burning for his YouTube channel.

There is Childhood Schizophrenia....children as young as 3 have been diagnosed, however that is rare. The usual ages range from 7-13.

There are kids that have illnesses that parents aren't responsible for. There are parents that do everything they can to get their child treatment. This doesn't seem like the case here. Mental illness because it isn't a physical disability parents can get SSI for the kids they claim suffer from one. They just have to find a doctor that gives them the right diagnosis.

They can't throw him in prison or lock him up even if he is convicted. The worse he is facing is probation. So basically no punishment whatsoever.

Can't they send him to juvie until he's 18?

But John Wall believes he has the right to speak up for his brother. And he also believes the outcome of the crime — ethically, if not legally — merits harsh punishment. He grimaces when discussing the actions of the boy, referenced in Jason Wall’s obituary as “Kyle Alwood of Goodfield, whom he was raising like his own son.”

“I don’t think he deserves leniency,” John Wall said.

That very brief statement came minutes after WMBD-TV posted a story onto their Web site about an apparent gag order that has been placed upon the parties involved in case. The TV station reported the boy's mother had been ordered to appear in court, likely the juvenile division of Woodford County Circuit Court, on Friday.

This video has me cringing. You don't flip off a tiny trampoline. He is lucky he didn't break his neck. I couldn't finish watching it. The house looked messed up compared to other videos. Was the mom saying she snorted blood and needed water?
These videos are so disturbing. There is just so much dysfunction going on. I’ve got to go back to the beginning.

Respectfully snipped for focus and commentary response.
Yes, I need more info before I can form a solid opinion on this one. ATM, the narrative isn't making sense.

Amateur opinion and speculation
I'm with you -- I just now watched the videos, and now I'm much more inclined -- at this stage -- to be dubious about all of it. He may have started the fire, but I wonder if he was only aiming for one person to be hurt, or to simply scare someone. The remark reportedly by Kyle re his stepfather, "If you won't do something about it, I will," does make me wonder.

I want to see, as we all do, I'm sure, what LE has on him to make that decision about him and about a 1st Degree Murder charge -- not involuntary manslaughter (is there something like that in Illinois?) or a similar lesser charge.
For me, this has gone from unbelievable to just plain sad and confused. But I can be convinced otherwise, but I haven't seen any proof for it yet.

Agreed. ...and that video --- did JW just take off his toddler's diaper and fling it across the room ?
And left it there to rot and smell ?
Didn't care enough to dispose of it properly ?
Smdh.
I thought the same thing... he just flung it.......... i thought maybe i saw wrong

Has anyone found Katie's YouTube channel?

From the looks of it she wouldn't have the wherewithal nor 'energy' to make one... unless its recent, for attention. She's just a bump on a log in all the videos i've seen. She surely didn't take the time to ever clean anything... and i consider myself a BAD housekeeper, so thats saying a LOT.

oh wow - totally missed that part about April - so much investigation has to have taken place at this point. I doubt the arrest warrant is public. so many questions IMO. Thanks for clarifying this information.
Arrest warrant, yes, that would be very informative. I would really, really like to see that.

Ruestman said he determined his findings through interviews and forensic evidence.

Woodford County State’s Attorney Greg Minger said he was awaiting results of final forensic tests before he files charges. Results probably will be available in about two weeks.

“Based on what I’ve seen in the reports and interviews, eventually there will be some charges (filed),” Minger said. “It takes some time.”
Illinois mobile home fire that killed five was intentionally set, authorities say
I can't get through the wall to read that article -- could somebody give a brief of it, or is there an alternative to that particular MSM source?
