I read somewhere that the DA said that he can be under probation for the next 5 years if convicted and that counseling and therapy are likely. but that's it.

If convicted, the suspect could be placed on probation for at least five years but not beyond the age of 21, the state’s attorney said. Therapy, counseling and psychological evaluation would be likely.

Incarceration is not an option, Minger suggested.

“Probation, given the age, is about the only outcome that could happen here,” he said.

ADHD meds have been given to kids for awhile. The medications for schizophrenia and bipolar are pretty serious especially for a kid.

If he’s prescribed these meds? Yes. Agree. Strongly. Taken improperly >suicidal ideation. Misuse/abuse/unprescribed example: Young person is depressed. Can’t get out of bed and function. Antidepressants increase/result in suicidal thoughts. Meds give patient motivation for action. Enough to reach for gun or rope in closet. imo

Wonder if she's going to pop out some more children ... and those children will go on to have 'issues' ; whether or not in her own mind ?
I wonder what doctor evaluated Kyle and determined that he had all of those diagnoses , and/or more ?

These videos that Kyle posted tell us so much more than anything his mom has told us. The condition of their home tells me that the 2 adults didn't do anything. Just because you are poor doesnt mean you don't clean or maintain your home. It doesnt excuse bad behavior and posting things that are nasty on the internet. Such a shame for the kids. A lawyer having to put a gag order on mommy makes me question her intelligence. She is quite a piece of work. MOO

I wonder how she (mom) was raised -- it could be she was never taught or never saw anything different from what she does with/for/to her family. Many skills are learned from watching and mimicking -- cooking, lawn-mowing, taking a bath, washing dishes, brushing teeth, hammering a nail, dusting, emptying the trash, vacuuming/sweeping a rug/floor, planting a garden, washing a car, feeding a baby, walking a dog, etc., etc. No excuses, but...

If she started reporting behaviors that matched the diagnoses she wanted when he was little a doctor would have possibly taken her at her word. If she has issues it would go to heredity. Was he enrolled in school?

I am not even sure he was diagnosed with those things to begin with. Seems a lot of diagnoses for one child.

Well, we know both had babies young... And all live in the same trailer park, no one married, Gramma living there too.... All were dirty, unkempt, physical issues and disabilities. Watching videos there wasn't a lot of clothing worn even though it was not summer, so not hot. One video looked like Mom was in bed with younger baby and completely naked .... I think a lot of disfunctional and who knows what else. Comment made about rose calling Jason wall, daddy. It just goes on and on

She'll have to find another sperm donor.
I do wonder if Kyle was ever actually examined/tested for those diagnoses. Certainly they are private, and we'll never know -- did a school teacher suggest his being seen? A routine doctor visit where the MD suspected it? I can't imagine that anyone from the home would think of it -- but I certainly could be mistaken.

A routine doctor visit where the MD suspected it? I can't imagine that anyone from the home would think of it -- but I certainly could be mistaken.

I think we are too easily believing his mom isn't intelligent or determined enough to get SSI for her disabled children. She looks medicated or high in videos and she might not be a good housekeeper but underestimating her might be a mistake. MOO
