Police want help searching for missing Wayne man

The Wayne police are seeking help locating a 43-year-old man who has been missing since Tuesday.

Christopher Wolek was last seen leaving his home on foot between 4 and 5 p.m. Tuesday. Police say he is without his medication and suffers from a condition that places him in danger.

Conditions were enough to cause harm to anyone outdoors Wednesday or Thursday. It was so cold mail delivery was cancelled for two days.

‘Endangered’ man missing from NW suburbs
An endangered missing person alert was issued Saturday for a 43-year-old man who is missing from northwest suburban Wayne.

Christopher Wolek was last seen walking out of his home at 33 W. 461 Brewster Creek Dr., between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to an alert issued by the Wayne Police Department and Illinois State Police.

He is actually missing from his mother's home. But, he lives in a residential care facility...

Police are searching for a 43-year-old man, who suffers from bipolar disorder, and has been missing since Tuesday, while staying with his mother in west suburban Wayne.

Police said Christopher Wolek lives at Mado Healthcare Douglas Park, at 1550 S. Albany Av. in Chicago, and checked out of the facility on Jan. 26.
