Bones, been there for a long time, highly unlikely.

I’m unfamiliar with this case, but the remains being bones that appear to have been there for some time does make it unlikely they belong to this particular person. I just wanted to share the link for those who are familiar with this MP case since the counties match.

This is a weirdly written article because it's about 2 cases, but it says he was stabbed.

Zion police have released little about Rhinehart’s disappearance and the subsequent charging of Bevly in his death, but Bevly’s grand jury indictment states that he is accused of stabbing Rhinehart.

It was the gang task force in Chicago that actually made the arrest. I'm guessing he has extensive priors. Murder charges filed in case of Zion man reported missing 2 months ago, police say

Has this ever gone on to trial? I can't find anything. It doesn't seem they ever found Cory's body either. His family is still making efforts to put his name/face out there.
