Shortly after Damari was born on Dec. 30, 2015, he also went into foster care. DCFS records show that Perry regained custody of her children in 2017.

In May 2021, the spokesman said, DCFS investigated an allegation of abuse or neglect involving Damari, but the report was later determined to be unfounded.

So, 8 years ago ( 2014) would have made the two other arrested siblings of Damari 12 years old and 8 years old at the time. They had been removed, and then returned to "Momma".

Yet the same article says the little boy was born on Dec 30th 2015.

Illinois State Representative Tom Weber, based in Fox Lake, has called for an investigation into DCFS policies, laws and leadership following the death of 6-year-old Damari Perry.

“The stories of incompetence from DCFS are sadly ever present; the improper removal of well-cared for children like baby girl Bougher, the deaths of AJ Freund and Damari Perry, and the hospitalization of 356 children in the state’s care for months longer than necessary in 2021,” Weber said in a statement on Tuesday
He also mentioned the murders of DCFS employees Pam Knight and Deidre Silas.

We can be somewhat grateful for their stupidity ; as others have concealed deceased children so well they've never been recovered.

From what I can gather, there is a 6 year old, a 3 year old and another I believe is between 7 and 15. All are currently in the care of DFCS.

The older children were removed and placed in foster care in 2014. JP gave birth to three more children over the following three years, including Damari, and they were all accommodated too, presumably from birth, before being rehabilitated back home in 2017.

I almost feel a sense of deja vu reading about the family histories and demographics on WS recently, the only differences are the horrific ways ‘parents’ kill their children and try to get away with it.
