What the what?!??!Saw this on my local news yesterday. Mortified. She was allegedly stabbed 70 times.

Just my opinion but it seems many people are going flat out insane, and I'm not including the drugged out homeless that are all over Long Beach. I mean otherwise normal folks. The population seems on edge and I don't even make eye contact with many people in public. Very sad...This is the second death I've seen recently related to a Facebook marketplace transaction. Michael Ryan, a marine vet was also killed earlier this month in MO over a cell phone.
Society is too unhinged these days to take risks it seems![]()
I have a feeling he would have done this no matter where he was, and she probably didn't feel like she was in danger because they met outdoors. So, he didn't like the condition of the vehicle so he stabbed her 70 times in the head and neck, stabs the dog, sets fire to the house, then tried to kill himself in jail?!
I've heard just about everything now...world gone mad.
A side note: NEVER have a sale or a buy at your house or the other residence. Meet in a public space with lots of people or at the police station, and preferably be armed and with a trusted friend to back you up. People are certifiably insane anymore. Too many of these cases!
There was a similar tragic case in Sweden on Christmas Day. A 55-year-old woman was stabbed to death, and her two daughters injured, by a for them unknown 22-year-old man, who had seen a marketplace ad. The man had known mental health problems, and he was shot dead by the police when he tried to attack them. It's very uncommon that a person is shot dead by Swedish police, as they try to use non-lethal methods/shootings, usually only 1-2 cases/year, 0 cases 2023.This is the second death I've seen recently related to a Facebook marketplace transaction. Michael Ryan, a marine vet was also killed earlier this month in MO over a cell phone.
