Police said Evangelina Kostianis, age 22, is missing from the 1000 block of West Glenlake Avenue in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood.

She is described as a white woman with brown hair and a light complexion, standing 4-foot-11 and weighing about 80 pounds.

I found no evidence of any arrests (recent or otherwise) that would have her in custody. No Social media found at this point for her. Her surname is Greek, and Edgewater does have one of the larger Greek populations in the area so I'm assuming she lives there or has family there.

What time she was last seen and what she was wearing has not been published.

The block she disappeared from is a nice neighborhood, though the area in general has seen an increase in carjackings and retail crime as has most of Chicago. Business wise, there are condomiums, and a couple close fitness businesses. Very close to the lake.

It appears she grew up in Oradell, NJ, which is in Bergen County, and went to college in Chicago.

Chicago PD has a pretty good filter system in their sex offender registry. There is only 1 male offender with a history of adult victims that lives in that immediate area. What is troubling is the number of homeless sex offenders within Chicago there are that are in the system but can't be tracked as they are homeless. Search - Homeless Registered Sex Offenders

There has also been someone claiming to be a cousin stating she was located 30 hours after going missing at a hospital. None of this has been verified by Chicago police who as of this morning are still listing her as "missing". IMO, with her being only 80 pounds (even at 4 11 that's seriously underweight) she might be dealing with some health ssues and if so, I think she and the family needs their privacy, but they should still alert Chicago PD if this is indeed the case.
