The Crest Hill Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding 25 year old Kari Simonic. Simonic was last seen walking eastbound from the area of Oakland Avenue and the Railroad Crossing south of Caton Farm Road in Crest Hill at about 2:00am on Saturday, February 9th.

Kari is 5′ 11″ tall with a thin build and blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crest Hill Police Department at 815-741-5111.

She was deemed endangered due to what she was wearing (no coat, just hooded sweatshirt and jeans) and the temperature at the time (5 Degree F). Apparently, she had a disagreement with friends she was with and just walked off. Desperate search for missing woman | The Herald-News Where she went missing was about 20 miles Southwest of where we live. When we went to bed last night around 11 it was only 8 degrees and with a clear sky and fairly gusty winds, it was bitterly cold.
