A 33-year-old woman has been missing for more than a month from the North Side Lake View neighborhood, according to Chicago Police.

Kathryn Velisek was last seen Nov. 20 and has been reported missing from the 3300 block of North Clark, police said.

She was described as a 5-foot-6, 150-pound white woman with a medium complexion, blonde hair and blue eyes, police said.

Anyone with information about Velisek’s whereabouts was asked to call the Area North Special Victims Unit at (312) 744-8266.

According to her Linked page, she works in the hospitality industry and came to Chicago from the West Coast about a year ago. It also states she doesn't really know anyone here, which is why she set up the page to network. It also shows her as unemployed since Spring. Chicago is expensive to live in. If she was unemployed it's possible she just packed up and left to go back where she has family or friends,

Wow! I know Katie! Her MP flyer was just posted in my FB feed by a mutual friend. She was here in SF about a year ago for her ex-boyfriends funeral. She seemed to be doing well. I'm trying to find more details, but nobody knows anything! I wonder if she's back here in SF????

Here's what I know:
Family became alarmed when she didn't call on Xmas
There is no credit card or ATM use after Nov 20
There was a call that came from a blocked number to a person here in SF. Person asked if they were looking for Katie, and person replied that she was at the store. Don't know the date of this call.
She moved to a different apartment in Sep, which her family was not aware of.
She's considered low priority on the MP list in Chicago because of her past substance abuse issues.
She "disappeared" for a month last year and was found in a hospital.

Friends are assuming that she is in with a bad crowd and may be holed up in a house. It's weird that there's been no activity on her bank account. That is worrisome.
Any help is appreciated. People are very concerned"

I haven't heard a peep from mutual friends about her being found. If she was, I hope she's safe.

Not working for me.

Oops read further and it was noted fb seems to be now gone. Imho->strange.

ETA - There is a fb with her name, no photo and one friend.
