ditto...
IMO, the daughters are so impressive! Their accomplishments, the love they have for Katrina ... my heart really goes out to them during this difficult time. I only see photos of them with Katrina and/or their father. The daughters are talented, smart and such nice girls. They came back from college to search and have been there every day. It has been cold and treacherous for the searchers.

this is the really sad part...

So the warrant was needed because he wouldn't let them search the house. Red Flag!

This is what I asked this morning. You don't need a warrant if the property owner gives permission for a search. What kind of husband would tell police that they can't search the house when his wife is missing and clearly in danger? They got a warrant. That means they have evidence.

Ummm....one who's guilty.

She was staying in Roscoe in a condo off of Hwy 251 by the Highlander grocery store. It was hardly a "housesitting" situation as described by the husband. The girl that owns the condo(a very good friend of Katrina's) had moved out of state several months ago and had recently allowed Katrina stay there to help her get though the separation. Why he would issue a press release telling everyone that they were happily married and still living together is beyond me. The police are well aware of Katrina's attempt to separate from her husband. I was fortunate enough to meet her several times. She is a little quirky, but very cool, compassionate and beautiful. Judging by the information being released it's becoming more and more clear that this won't end well:(

Oh dear! Although we all suspect it doesn't look good, we appreciate your additional input. Thanks for 'stepping out' and 'speaking up'.

Perhaps all the pressure of the impending case is causing the hubby to act in a way that is not realistic. Maybe he is in denial of many things and is having some type of psychological break.

I wonder if LE has thoroughly searched that condo, as well as the surrounding area? We still don't know if Katrina was actually in her vehicle when it was parked and abandoned. Items do look/feel kind of staged.

TT:That is what I am thinking also ...

If she was out shopping, there will be bank records/debit card transactions to verify.

I am sure there are cell phone records/GPS also.

Surveillance video from stores, gas stations, etc.

i wish they would disclose which stores she was last sighted at... as le said that they had confirmed that she was indeed shopping between 7-8pm that night but they have never confirmed that she was on security cams at or after 9pm anywhere...i think they would if they could?? wouldnt they?

also, have her keys been found yet?

Thanks for the welcome.......

The police were definitely let into the condo as soon as the disappearance was reported and have been in contact with the owner from the first day. There's no way that anything could have happened there without raising a lot of attention. It's a unit in the middle and is surrounded on both sides by retired couples that make a point of making sure they know everything that is going on around them--with the way that place was built, if there was a fight/struggle the neighbors would have definitely been aware.......I am one in the camp that thinks the whole crime scene by the river has been staged. The sequence of events just doesn't add up........

I agree. The scattered belongings is a sign, in my opinion, of someone trying to stage a crime scene. I just hope that enough evidence is found for police to move forward toward finding her.

Don't want to ask you to reveal too much, 750, but do you know why the marriage was having trouble? Was it Todd's business dealings?

I read that a wallet was found. Has that been confirmed or was that rumor? If it's confirmed, what was the location? It seems like that might be a sign of where the vehicle was prior to it reaching the park.

I keep thinking about that bloody paper towel. It doesn't seem like someone would leave behind a piece of evidence like that. I wonder if it is unrelated or if it fell out of her purse or something like that.
