Let's hope Kayla is worth more to Merritt alive then dead. Very concerned there has been no more news.

I'm not sure if he does. I want and hope so!
The fact that he rammed her car and forced it off the road hitting a pole/tree(that is what I remember reading on here via a msm link)...could have killer her then.
I do wonder and I am concerned as it isn't known what condition she was in after that? I can't say accident as it was purposely done.

ETA I believe she called her mom after he took her so maybe her injuries were minor.

Please excuse and correct any mistakes I may have made. I went this weekend to visit my dad's grave for his birthday and I am now trying to catch up!

Would she meet him and give the baby, if that were the case? I think she would be hiding out if he knew that.

Clarence Merritte was indicted way back in January of 2015 on two counts of aggravated battery. However a potential guilty plea was never reached because the case kept getting delayed and delayed. I am thinking a murder suicide is developing - this guy is obviously not caring about his legal outcomes - probably snapped with the case coming up, convinced her to "just talk" and her calm convo with the mom, I dunno.
