The victim, Kenneth Deal, was shot to death at the intersection of 3rd and Washington. Police and prosecutors say Deal did not know his attackers and was robbed of marijuana.

Terrence T. Lee, 32, was sentenced Thursday to 50 years in prison after admitting in court that he killed a fellow Madison County Jail inmate and previously participated in a robbery in which another man was slain...

Madison County Associate Judge Neil Schroeder sentenced Lee to consecutive terms of 30 years for Newsome’s murder and 20 for Deal’s robbery.
