Grand Jury within a couple of weeks.

Rubbing alcholol? When he returned home he used alcohol to wash his arms.

Brutal beating punching & stabs. Pretty horrible. He was in a state of rage.

Laura was at her home around 3:00 p.m.

He needed permission from state of TX to leave. Prosc. thinks he had permission. (hell, they didn't want him there)

They do not believe Krystal would have drawn a knife.

Wheeping in court.

They keep referring back to what was said in court, but didn't tell us specifically what has been said in court.

And I'd like to :bang: the reporters for asking such stupid questions too

Reaction from Krystal's family?

We will be in touch with them very soon. Investigators have been in touch with them. They are devestated.

hard to know what was said in court since IL is one of those states that does not allow cameras in its court rooms.

This is unbelievable. My heart is just racing.......He stabbed her in the eyes? Holy crap...........That little girl doesn't look like a child that would be carrying a knife. I guess we'll find out more as we go on.

And what is the grandfather's comments about not being able to afford an attorney. Are they actually thinking about hiring a lawyer to defend that piece of crap?

Good God I hope not...it is my understanding he was appointed a public defender...

I wonder if the grandfather's comment had to do with the statement that more charges might be brought up later..I posted a snippet of that back earlier but don't recall what it said...

kk, I'm holding out that all quotes by the family were before details were released or charges filed. Let's give them a chance before we b-b-q them.

btw. please forgive my typos I've been trying to get the info out to ya'll as quickly as possible

Authorities said Tuesday additional charges could still be filed in the girls' slayings but did not specify what those might be.

Arthur Hollabaugh, Laura Hobbs' grandfather who has said he doesn't believe Hobbs killed the girls, said the family wouldn't be able to afford an attorney.

No it's not clear whether the statement was in regards to additional charges being filed or the original allegation that the father might be involved...

I don't understand. Isn't Hobbs on the record as CONFESSING to these murders? If so, it does not make sense for the victim's gandfather to want to help with his defense. The reporters need to be clear about WHEN statements were made and in what context.

If this little girl did have a knife (which I'll have to hear more about to even begin to believe), maybe its like we all thought and this guy HAS been molesting her and she decided she wasn't going to take it any more and decieded to protect herself.

Cypros, all quotes by the family were made BEFORE charges were filed and BEFORE they had any details.

Prosecutors do not believe she had a knife. AND, JH has a conviction for previously stabbing someone ... so who do you think had the knife?

Thanks to all for posting about the PC. Did I hear that Hobbs was charged with trying to stab some women who was squealing her tires????
The sound apparently bothered and set him off???

So where did the bit about Krystal having the knife come from? Was that what they thought at first?

Yep. That's what I heard too. So somehow that warranted him stabbing her!?!?!

I'm still in shock. How could this guy think that he was in any position to punish Laura and Krystal.

No, that is what JH confessed to. I guess he thinks it's o.k. to murder them if the knife wasn't his and he was defending himself against these tiny little girls.

btw, this 60 second rule sucks when you're trying to give fast updates.
