Kyle went missing after seeing a concert at the Apollo Theater in downtown Belvidere. "The last people to have seen him said they saw him walking from the Salvation Army parking lot towards Dari Ripple and that's the last location of where we know he was at."

Kyle's family knew something was off when he didn't show up to support his favorite team after the concert.

Firefighters searched the Kishwaukee River on Monday. The Rockford Fire Department is also assisting in the search.

Bumping for Kyle - do we have anyone familiar with this area that could provide some insight to any potential danger zones in the area? Rough neighborhoods, water - lakes, ponds, etc, construction areas, highways?

Edit: I should have done a quick Google myself, the Kishwaukee River is right there, running along the direction he was last seen walking, from the Salvation Army parking lot towards Dari-Ripple. I've chastised myself ;)

The theatre is right beside the river (on the north side)

Dari Ripple and Sally Anne are both right beside the river also (but on the south side) right across the street from each other.

Only the river and the bridge/street separate them :scared:

Where are you Kyle?!?!

Sounds like he was walking.
From the find FB, the family is doing the usual things but sounds like they need a detective on the case to make things go faster.
Of course he was by a river [emoji20]
I just hate typing that because he is a guy, 23 yo and close to water.
Praying for the best!!!

I read the FAQ on the FB page and my question is for those familiar with that area. His phone pinged at 2:04 am. It pinged basically where he was last seen by camera at 11:51?

My understanding is there may currently be some police activity along the riverside in this area. There has been no confirmation that it is related to Kyle. Many threads have had commenting shut off on the Facebook group. Sending positive thoughts Kyle and his family's way.

Oh no :( I know it's closure for the family if it is him but still doesn't change the pain they are going through (if it is him)

I can't find an update. The Facebook page for him is still a closed group. I assume so people aren't asking if itsi him in the river.

Ah, I was so worried this would be the case. Completely heartbreaking. My condolences to the family and I hope they receive answers to their questions soon.
